Date: Tue Sep 1st, 2026 @ 6:34am I think this one is best suited for what I have in mind. I reached out to Bill asking if he would help me write the guards during Crossroads of Destiny, and he was enthusiastic to help out. For a tall dude, he pulls off the angry short guys pretty well! ;)
He also was a lending ear when I had questions or simply needed to talk something through. It really helped me stay focused, especially since it was my first time running a mission.
So thank you for everything you brought to this mission, Mister Chief of Kyle!

Date: Mon Aug 10th, 2026 @ 1:18am Sam jumped right into planning the rescue of the detained crew during Crossroads of Destiny. He and I planned for several hours to make it realistic but also fun, even doing a discord call to work out the details. He roped people into action and kicked off jps that flesh out the very ideas we discussed. At the time this nomination was written, those jps are still in progress, but I'm sure they end up solid posts!

The utter chaos of the transporter room managed to be both dramatic and comedic as emotions ran high. Despite some unlikely choices, all of the actions taken still felt genuine for the characters. And those events significantly affected later posts without running them off the rails.
This was a highly entertaining post all around. Orin's final comment of "What the frack just happened?" was a suitable summary.

Joking aside, the Lonians started out looking like kindred spirits, only for various currents of authoritarianism to slowly but insistently make their presence known. This isn't a race of monsters. This is a view of how a society gets perverted, mostly without resistance.

This is the funniest thing I've been part of for a while. These three characters have not interacted a lot, so it was intended to be a casual JP where they gained a bit of familiarity while being silly and perhaps a little stupid. ;) These sorts of posts don't always work, but this one absolutely did. Date: Sun Jul 19th, 2026 @ 3:01pm Specifically for Blind Man's Bluff, but Alex has consistently worked as an equal writing partner in multiple JPs.
Alex asked the players of everyone getting arrested what kind of experience they wanted to have. Among other things, to determine the amount of violence and trauma. In Blind Man's Bluff, we kind of slid off the original plan. Alex and I discussed the issues, rewrote a few things, considered various options, and ended up with a final product I'm very happy with. That sort of collaboration is really important in intense scenes.

I wanted to recognise the chaos thrown at Orin and how well I think the character handled it. Opening negotiations, organising a diplomatic lunch, staying level-headed in the face of Lady Sama's manipulation, and now navigating the legal stuff with Serenity to try and get our people back peacefully. I think it's a great demonstration of just what our fellow diplomats handle. Well done!

I've had this award in my back pocket for like 2 weeks because I was waiting for this post to go out. There's probably four awards I debated nominating but I think this one covers everything nicely. I'm recognising the OOC brainstorming that happened behind the scenes, in addition to the post itself.
Throughout this jp, Cassie and I were in constant communication about how it should go. We bounced ideas off of each other and debated how the guards would react to Rin's implants. It was Cassie's idea to, erm, "test the electrical resistance" of Rin's occular implant, and we hesitated on it at first, but we trusted the process and it grew on us. I was looking forward to basically every tag, because it either inspired my own creativity or made me chuckle. And the power play of Rin LAUGHING at the guards while blinded, restrained, and outnumbered? I swear my jaw hit the floor!
It was an absolute joy to write this with Cassie. I gave her a scene and she not only rolled with it, but she exceeded any expectations I had for it. I can't wait to see how this plays into the rest of the mission!
