View Award - Four Palm Leaf Medal
Awarded to Starfleet personnel who have distinguished themselves in the conduct of First Contact missions, representing the United Federation of Planets in such manner and conduct that they are recognized as having met or exceeded the primary mandate of the United Federation of Planets Starfleet in 'seeking out new life and new civilizations'. The medal is presented by the individual's Commanding Officer, with authorization from a Senior Flag Officer.
