Professor Lara Barclay de Tolly and her granddaughter Acting Scientist Mate Lara Barclay Tolly were having an ice cream cone at the ice cream stand in the hotel. Sitting at another table was Romulan Commander Zodok with his Betazoid wife Diana and their three kids.

Professor Lara says to her granddaughter, "Sweetie. This calling me Grandma or Grandmother, we need to change that."

Lara thought, "I could call you Gran or maybe Nana." She licks her ice cream cone. "What did you call your grandmother?"

"Mimi and Olga," Professor Lara says shrugging. "Mimi's real name was Catherine but Olga wanted me to call her by her first name. I prefer Mimi. She was the one who gave me books. I miss her."

"Awwwww," Lara says with a tear. "I will call you Mimi."

"That would be lovely," Professor Lara says kissing Lara's cheek. "You have an ice cream kiss."

Lara was about to give her grandmother when there was a man running down a corridor from three other guys as they were firing phasers at the man. The clothes of the man running looked futuristic but the others looked current. Finally the man saw Zodok so he brought out his phaser to kill him but Professor Lara clobbers him with her purse knocking him back. The others grabbed him as the wrestled on the ground. Finally, they all teleported away.

"Those men almost messed up my ice cream cone," Professor Lara says.

Romulan Commander Zodok asks Professor Lara , "Are you Okay?"

"I am okay young man," Professor Lara says exhaling.

"My Mimi clobbered him," Lara says smiling hugging her grandmother. Lara sees a futuristic communication badge, so she picks up as she places it in her purse.

A female Captain teleported in as she looks at Lara. "Young lady. Please hand me what you picked up."

Zodok smiled as he was delighted to see his mother who he had not seen in years.

Lara hands it to her reluctantly. "I am sorry. I was going to run tests on it."

The Temporal Agent from the future Captain Addison Blaire says to Lara. "Acting Scientist Mate Lara. You were going to create something you should not. A couple months from now it would get out of hand. Please do not tinker with stuff from the future. Couple months from now you will remembered what you did. Now you enjoy your ice cream cone with your grandmother. Professor and Lara, keep this a secret. Trust me."

"Yes Mam," Lara says as she went back to sit with her Mimi.

Mimi (Professor Lara ) whispers to Lara. "That Officer is from the future. You are lucky,"

Lara knew her curiosity always get the best of her.

Captain Blaire says to her son Zodok, "I see you already read my mind. Yes, that man was looking for you to kill you. My men had taken care of it but forgot to retrieve the badge."

"I do not know much time you have," Zodok says, "Let me introduce my family. You remember Diana. We got married a couple of years after you left. Children, this is your Grandmother Addison. Mom, this is Ulysses, Synthia and Addie."

Addison looks at her chronometer. "I could stay about an hour. If my men shows up, I have to go."

Lara finishes her ice cream cone. "Mimi, there is a Discovery Store here. Can we go there?"

"That would be great," Mimi smiled as she liked her new name. "So what were you planning on doing with that badge?"

"Just a theory I had but you better not know," Lara says grinning.
