On a world where the very land was crumbling beneath your feet, panic was sure to spread. And spread it was. Swiftly through the streets, panic, fear and more spread. People looked around at others with fear in their eyes.

Buildings crumbled as did common decency. Blame was liberally spread, and soon, most citizens were armed. Either against the local law enforcement or against the roaming gangs that were being formed.

Those lucky enough to escape the city were heading for the Federation base, passing the relief personnel on their way.

But there were those trapped in crumbling buildings, where they could not escape, either due to infirmity, the building itself or the roaming gangs.

Money was being charged for protection which never eventuated. Life was getting worse.
