The crowd roared as they watched two shirtless men fight in the cage in the center of the room. Jorak the Drax bartender was busy cleaning a glass went he noticed a red-haired young Drax woman sitting at the end of the bar counter. She wore a long coat drenched from the rain pouring outside which meant she just recently came in. Despite her efforts to hide it, she was Drax Military Jorak being ex-military himself could tell.

Walking past a fat Ferengi fast asleep and a pair of large aliens arguing Jorak approached her. "What can I get you?" He asked.

“Just information” Freya smiled at the barkeep. “I’m looking for the Captain of the S.S. Redemption.”

Jorak was about to reply when one of the arguing aliens sat up pulled out his disruptor and shot the other dead. A few members of the crowd lifted their drinks and cheered. "DISPOSAL!" Jorak shouted as two brutes came out of the crowd and dragged the dead alien away by his feet outside.

"The Captain of the S.S. Redemption you said?" Jorak pointed to the cage where the two men were fighting. "He is in there."

“Great!” Freya sighed. “When he’s finished tell him I want to talk to him.”

"He's been finished," Jorak said cleaning a glass. "He is just putting on a show for the crowd."

Just then with one swift roundhouse kick one of the fighters in the cage fell to the ground spitting his teeth out. The official checked him before signaling he was out cold to a mass amount of boos from the crowd.

A crew rushed in draping a towel over the victor's head covering half his face as the announcer grabbed his arm raising it in the air. "Winner! And still your undefeated champion!"

The crowd roared with more boos and started tossing the contents of their drinks and trash into the cage.

Jorak turned to the sleeping fat Ferengi. "Progg, it's over."

Progg snapped awake. "ALRIGHT, YOU WORTHLESS BUMS NO FREE DRINKS TONIGHT PAY UP AND GET OUT!"

The crowd booed again before the guards at the door pulled out their weapons which quickly changed their attitudes.

As the crowd filed out paying their tabs the victor with the towel over his head still walked behind them. Some flinging curse words at him others congratulating him. He held his side as he walked past Freya grabbed a bottle of whiskey and glass then headed into the back.

Jorak took another glass and started cleaning it. "Your, Captain, is free to talk now." He said pointing to the direction the victor went.

Getting up Freya slapped a large tip down onto the bar. “For your trouble.” With that, she headed over to the Captain. “Are you the Captain of the S.S. Redemption?”

The Captain was hunched over the sink towel still over his head spitting out blood and washing off. He paused to take a drink of whiskey then set the glass down before grabbing a medkit. "Yes, I am the Captain of the S.S. Redemption, who are you?"

“Just someone looking for a ride” she kept her hood up knowing she’d be easily recognized amongst her own people. “And not the kind of ride you’re thinking of either!” She waved a wad of credits. “I need a lift to the nearest Federation Starbase.”

"This someone has a name?" He asked taking a seat and he started undoing the wrappings on his hands.

Freya sighed and lowered her hood. “Freya Savette, There’s someone I have to find.”

Kaden stopped unwrapping his hands then sat up before removing the towel off his head. "Freya?"

He didn't wait for her to answer before he hugged her. "It is you, w-what are you doing on this rock?"

Freya’s smile practically shone. “I was looking for you!” She hugged him back before pulling back and looking into his eyes. “You disappeared from Drax, no mention of where you were going or anything! You didn’t expect me to stay there without you, did you?”

"I sent you letters," Kaden replied sitting back down before pouring himself another drink and downing it. "Did you not get them?"

Freya shook her head. “No, I didn’t.” She shook her head. “Another reason why I want the hell away from Drax Prime! I want to go with you... and before you start telling me it’s too dangerous I don’t care!”

Kaden took notice of her uniform. "I see you joined the Drax Military, Princess, or is it, Lieutenant?"

“It’s not important, with my level of abilities I didn’t get a choice.” She sighed. “You know what it’s like on Drax, you submit or you find yourself on the wrong side of the law. Besides... It’s Consul now, I’m the new Drax exchange officer for the Federation. I’m due aboard the U.S.S. Elysium.”

Kaden opened the medkit took out a dermal regenerator and ran it over his bruises. "Ah, so you are the new Consul I am transporting." He shook his head. "How did you manage that?"

“They were looking to spread our influence so I volunteered for the role.” Getting up Freya walked over to him and gently took the dermal regenerator from his hand. “Here, let me” She gently ran it over his bruises.

Kaden pulled a tooth out of the bloody wrapping on his hand. "I think you guys need some work on that they haven't left that base of theirs since the bombing of Colonial Police Headquarters in the colony here a year ago." He shook his head in disdain. "Seems your precious uncle likes watching this place tear itself apart."

“My Uncle has to protect my people. Trust me they won’t like what he’s planning next.” She finished off with the regenerator. “So...” She stepped forward standing closer to him. “Are you ever going to kiss me?”

Kaden leaned forward as if going to kiss Freya but instead grabbed a tunic and put it on. "It was your uncle that told me to leave you to know. Said if I didn't he make it his mission to let my old pals know I am still alive." He sat up tucking his tunic in his pants. "I told you Freya he is not fit to be king your father should be."

Freya sighed. “It’s not up to me who rules and who doesn’t.” She turned and walked away leaning up against the wall as she looked back at him. “So are you gonna take me out of here or not?”

"Was just getting to that," Kaden replied as he gathered his things and coat leaving the room.

Heading back out to the bar Kaden started putting on his shoulder holster with his phaser in it. Before running into Proggs men cracking their knuckles waiting for him. "You can't be serious."

Progg sat in his usual spot at the bar. "It's not you I want, Ross, it's her highness." He grinned waving at Freya. "Your uncle said might show up here I was offered a nice price to return you home."

"Progg, she is the Consul for the Federation," Kaden replied although something seemed amiss.

Progg took a drink of his slug-o-cola. "Is that so? Her dear uncle denied her Consul status apparently the princess ran from home."

Kaden looked at Freya. "You ran from home, really?"

“It’s not like I had a lot of choices!” She shrugged her shoulders. “I’m heading to the Federation, my Uncle knows I’m the best choice for this and besides the Federation is expecting me, not anyone else.”

Kaden groaned rubbing his head in agony. "You and I are having a long talk about this."

That is when one of Proggs men came at him swinging his fist. Kaden moved away from Freya dodging each swing he made till he caught his fist with his hand. Twisting his wrist the thug squirmed in pain before took a handful of his hair and smashed his face into the countertop of the bar.

Kaden then smashed a bottle over his head knocking him out cold. Turning to Proggs other men he watched the other look to his partner then Kaden. "Please tell me you are the smart one." He said in an annoyed tone.

The goon just stood there for a few seconds as if processing what he should do. It was then at that moment he turned and ran out the door not wanting anything to do with Kaden.

"GET BACK HERE YOU IDIOT!" Progg shouted.

Kaden approached him causing him to cower waiting for Kaden to tear him a new ass. "Progg, why don't we just call it a night? I won all my fights it's time to pay up." He grabbed him by his shirt looking him dead in the eyes. "I want what we agreed where is my money and the items I asked for?"

Progg pointed to the spot Freya was standing. "Y-Y-Your money is under the floor all 130,000."

Kaden motioned for Freya to check.

Bending down Freya pulled up a loose board underneath her feet. “Nice hiding spot, looks like your credits are here Kaden. Thank you for the save by the way” she smiled warmly. “I appreciate it.”

Kaden gave a nod and a smile before turning back to Progg. "Now, what about the items I asked for?"

"I will have them delivered first thing in the morning I swear." Progg said.

Kaden released him. "Pleasure doing business." He grabbed his saddlebags from under the counter tossing them to Freya to put his credits in them. "One last thing, the princess is coming with me she is my passenger and I take the safety of my passengers VERY seriously."

Progg only nodded.

Kaden waited for Freya to finish packing up his credits while he put on his coat.

Once she was finished he took the saddlebags from her and ushered her outside with him following.

After they were gone Progg sighed in relief but then Jorak put a disruptor to his head. "I think it's time we discussed my severance pay."
