Mission: Season 5: Interlude: Darkness Abounds
Location: USS Elysium

Rhen having just met his compatriots in Security walked into a office with a lovely red haired angel stood surrounded by boxes. Noticing her back turned to him he smiled slightly walked over to her placed his hands on her hips before resting his chin on her shoulder.

"Boo." Rhen said softly.

Keira’s eyes widened at her husband’s touch and the sound of his voice. “Rhen!!” She spun around kissing him lovingly.

Rhen kissed her back before stepping away and bowing despite he no longer needed to bow. It was tough to both accept he was Royalty and break the habit. After bowing Rhen passed realizing his error. "Sorry, Kiera, old habit."

Kiera grinned. “I know, but now we’re married you don’t have to do that. You’re a royal consort now, not my bodyguard. I’m glad you finally made it, I was getting worried about you.”

"I just got in, I was glad you were assigned here as well be looking forward to seeing you. I missed you but I had a duty to your father the prince to fulfill." Rhen said as he kissed his wife again.

Kiera returned his kiss before nodding. “I know, so what position have you chosen to fill here aboard the Elysium? You were in two minds as to what to choose.”

Rhen took a seat on the couch nearby placing his military cap on the armrest. "I have been granted the rank of Warrant Officer and assigned as an investigator for this ship. I guess my status as a Lt. Colonel on the Royal Military is on reserve status." He sounded a bit disappointed by it.

Kiera smiled. “Hey, don't worry your military position will be upheld that I promise you! My father won’t forget what you’ve done for him.”

Rhen offered Kiera to sit next to him. "I am glad he will but I must ask, who told the Federation of my past skills as a officer of the law back home?" He noticed Kiera blushing a little. "Did you?"

“Well I ... might have let them know about your skills.” Kiera smiled.

"That explains it." Rhen smiled. "I am glad you did but I was curious wasn't your sister Freya assigned here?"

"My half sister, yes she was but she's been recalled home and I'm taking her place as Consul here." Kiera smiled.

"I was led to believe she left home cause of your idiot uncle why go back?" Rhen asked before he sighed and slouched down the couch. "I'm sorry, Kiera, I meant no disrespect it's just many including myself believe your father should be King."

Kiera nodded. “I have to agree, Freya didn’t have much choice but to return though I doubt she’ll stay on Drax for long. She’s too much of free spirit to be kept against her will.

Rhen shook his head he couldn't quite understand Freya or her taste in men but going back to Drax was well not the best thing to do. "Well I hope the King will not try force her to marry that moron upon her return."

“Don’t worry, I have someone there waiting for her.” Kiera smiled. “Besides I’m sure Kaden Ross will have something to say about that. From what Freya told me about him it seems they had a blooming relationship.”

Rhen's eyes widened as he shot up off the couch. "HIM? Is she insane? Does she not remember he was hired to kill you then tried to kill me?" He asked.

“I’ve heard he’s changed, still dangerous by his sheer nature but I trust him not to hurt Freya.” Kiera smiled. “Besides he's no threat to us anymore, we’re here starting a new life together.”

Rhen smiling walked over to Kiera and pulled her close to him. "Yes, we are." He kissed her gently grabbing her butt.

"You do know I'm on duty right now don't you?" Kiera grinned. "I'm afraid fun will have to wait until later."

Rhen gently caressed her breasts. "Least let me touch you like this to hold me over when you get off." He hadn't seen her in a year he couldn't help it.

“Ohh you know how much I like that” Kiera grinned giving him a loving kiss. “There’s plenty more where that came from I promise.”

Rhen stopped playing with her frowning a little. "Sorry, Kiera, I just haven't got to touch you or make love to you over the past year." He took a moment to compose himself. "I have missed being with you."

"I've missed you too Ren" Kiera smiled as she offered a loving hug. "You know there's a storage room not too far down the corridor ..." she grinned a wry grin.

Rhen's eyes widened as he looked at his wife. "Perhaps we should go see how much we both missed one another then."

"Hmm sounds good to me" Kiera grinned as she headed towards the door. "You'll see a door just before the turbolift, it's a storage room. I found it completely by accident, meet me there in 5 minutes."

Rhen grabbed his cap and straightened his uniform as if he was attending a dress down trying to act as casual as possible. "As you wish." He replied trying to not bow this time.

Five minutes later Kiera was standing excitedly waiting for Ren to join her, they wouldn't have long and they needed to be discreet but she intended to show him just how much she'd missed him.

Rhen entered shortly later was surprised to see Kiera had set up a makeshift area for them. "Nice thinking."

The area was more of a cleared tiny corner. "Well we don't have to be too uncomfortable do we? Kiera grinned.

"No...we don't." Rhen replied taking her by her waist kissing her passionately. "I truly missed you."

“As I have missed you my love” Kiera smiled then returned her husband's kiss. “We don’t have much time and I can’t wait to make love with you!”

Rhen undid her uniform and freed her breasts. "Kiera, just shut up and get naked." He said with a grin kissing her left breast.

“Ohh I could say the same to you!” Kiera smiled as she quickly helped Rhen out of his clothing. Disguarding his clothes and hers onto the floor as their encounter started heating up.

Rhen lifted his wife off her feet and gently set her on her back on the makeshift bed kissing his way down her body working his way between her legs.

Kiera encouraged Rhen, running her fingers through his hair as he kissed his way down her body. They'd been apart for what felt like forever, even though it was only a short time.

Kiera's communicator beeped. "Consular Tal, your 11 o'clock has arrived."

Rhen groaned resting his head on her tummy clearly annoyed.

Kiera sighed and tapped her badge. "I'm running slightly late, I'll be there shortly Tal out." she offered Rhen an apologetic glance. "I'm sorry! I'm helping out in the Counselling department for a few hours, i totally forgot about this appointment." she wriggled free. "I'll tell you what ... how's about you give me say ... 45 minutes and meet me at the counselling offices?" she grinned as she stood up and got dressed. "There's a nice comfy sofa and a desk we can put to good use!"

"Forget about it." Said Rhen getting dressed clearly upset. "I'll go stop by and take a cold shower at the gym." He redid his uniform jacket while straightening up.

Kiera gazed into her husband's eyes. "Rhen please don't be like that! I do want you ..." Her fingers trailed over the bulge in his trousers. "Be there in 45 minutes." She kissed him passionately before quicky tidying up the room and heading for the door. "I love you"

Rhen grabbed his cap before placing it on his head. "I know." He headed out the door and left.
