Jess entered a prefab and turned on the heat. "Goddess Dammit, they don't make Betazoids to like the cold." She noted.
Man'darr stepped in behind her, dressed in his Marine Armor. They had not gotten a chance to spend any time together since getting to the surface. Man'darr was tired as he removed his helmet and set it on a small crate. "And you think Capellans are?" he replied.
Jess smirked. "You have a point. Fortunately, I think we can improve upon the situation here." Jess noted. "What do you think. settle down under some blankets in front of the heater, and keep each other warm." She smiled.
"That sounds good to me," he replied as he removed his armor, setting it on the floor, leaving him dressed in a black thermal bodysuit as he walked over to join Jess.
She bundled up with Man'darr in front of the heater and blankets. "You're warm, Jarhead." She noted with a smile.
"Yeah, well I don't feel as warm. When we get back, I'm taking a vacation to Risa," he complained with a grin, wrapping his arm around Jess. "How are the squadrons doing?"
"I've linked up the Auxillary Reactors of the fighters we don't need at the moment to the power grid, It should provide more heat to us." Jess noted. "Kept a wing of them at the ready in case something shows up. We're in a place no one thought anyone would go in the Federation's lifetime. And yes, we are getting back, We got here after all. It is in the realm of possibility." Jess noted. "And I like that Risa idea. Maybe we can work on our family there." She noted. "Focus on building our Starfleet Family properly." She noted. "And I'd also like to plan a very human wedding. All this Betazoid Tradition is for the cows. I was raised on Earth by my dad." She noted. "Tradition was not kind to me on Betazed."
"Fine, we'll split it then. You do the Betazoid tradition of walking down the aisle naked and I'll observe the normal custom of being dressed," he teased, elbowing her in the side gently. The idea of marrying Jess made him both nervous and excited at the same time.
Jess kicked him in the leg playfully. "Dirty old Marine."
"Who are you calling old?" he questioned with a grin as he looked at her.
Jess chuckled. "I can call you all sorts of things, foot slogger." She grinned and kissed him.
He returned Jess' kiss eagerly as he pulled her close to him. He enjoyed her closeness and warmth as her body pressed up against his.
Jess grinned. "You know we should build a few snowmen around the place."
Man'darr turned his head and looked at her. "Why?" Personally, he thought was too cold to do anything outside, especially build snowmen.
Jess chuckled. "Maybe as a way to lighten the mood. Get a few good laughs out of the crew.. let them know we're going to get off this place."
"Very well," he agreed after a moment. "Should we go now or start later?" he grinned at her.
"Let's go and get started," she smiled at him, giving him a light kiss before getting up and beginning to dress as did Man'darr.
