Mission: Season 6: Episode 3: Far From Home
Location: USS Elyisum
Timeline: MD1 09h00
345 words - 0.7 OF Standard Post Measure

"Commodore’s Command Log. We have departed our temporary base on the frigid ice world. The Elysium is repaired for the most part. Our warp core is still damaged and the QSD will take months to fix. We are limited to warp 4 and have need of supplies to fix the warp core and QSD as well as food supplies and medical supplies. As we leave this system, I have ordered operations and science to launch probes to scan for various locations for us to look for the needed supplies. I have also ordered that level 2 of the ships Arboretum to be cleared of Milky way flora and such and for it to be used for samples from this new galaxy. Those probes are also going to be mapping the galaxy we are in and we have launched a communication probe towards home, and I placed a message in it so that the admiralty know we are alive. Well most of us. We are heading for home and we have a lot of people depending on us. My senior staff I know are feeling the pressure. It's like deja vu for me. And this time there is no crazy admiral to sacrifice himself for the crew. I hope that with the QSD we will be able to eventually get home. Maybe we will find new tech and more here." A pause.  "Computer end log."
