Mission:
2395 - A Christmas Time
Location: Holodeck 4
806 words - 1.6 OF Standard Post Measure
Jessica entered the holodeck with Milla. "One P-51 Mustang. Or the Holographic recreation of the one in my hanger." Jess noted. "Mint condition, and she has a few safety features installed. The usual escape transporter and I put on an autopilot just in case. And this model has the Packard V-1650 Merlin that really made this fighter soar as a long range escort." Jess mentioned.
"It's beautiful, baby." Milla giggled, sauntering over to the plane in her tight jeans and leaning against it in a sultry pose, "See somethin' you like, Flygurl?"
"Just checking out the latest specifications, Cadet." Jessica smiled.
"1650 Merlin puts out a lot of horses, great for quick hitter missions." Milla nodded, "The ones the Americans gave my ancestors were amazing against the Luftwaffe. Oh, speaking of the Luftwaffe, how would you like to do Battle of Britain? Gallia has a copy made for her by Chief O'Brien, same one he and Dr. Bashir did, she says we're always welcome."
"I have a program like that for the Pacific Theater. Think you can fly off a two hundred meter deck?" Jess noted. "USS Enterprise CV-6 in all her glory. The most decorated carrier of Earth's second world war."
"Sounds awesome." Milla smiled, "Maybe we find a nice Eastern front simulation, too? We can fly Sturmoviks together."
"Looks like we have a choice in theaters. You're one hell of a girl, Milla. I'm glad I picked you up before some cadet found you. Hell, those cadets don't have the balls I do." Jess noted. "Not even when you walk out on your house on Betazed." Jessica walked over from the hanger to a tree with a tomb stone nearby.

"Liberty is the undeniable right of all sentient beings."
"That's such a beautiful statement right there." Milla said, the words had such impact, "This was your dad?"
"You know how they arrange marriages on Betazed. Well somehow, my mother managed to arrange a marriage to my father on Betazed through an old alliance." Jessica noted. "When I was born, that was when my father's nightmare began. You see, The Kessanna women were raised with a cardinal rule; power is power." Jess noted. "My father couldn't walk away, or Lucianna would have had me killed somehow. Think Cersei Lannister from George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones. Also, If I wasn't the perfect lady and waiting to Kalesca, Mother took it out on me... Both physically and mentally."
Milla dashed over and took Jessica into her arms, "It's okay, love, you'll never have to face that again." She promised, "And I'm glad you found me when you did, too." She took a deep breath, "But, speaking of families, I've got one, too. You'll need to meet them, especially my sister, Anje."
"I would certainly enjoy your family than mine." Jess mentioned. "I'd love to meet them. Now where was I? Oh yes. Father learned that Lucianna was plotting against the Royal Council and sent them into hiding when the Dominion took Betazed. The Dominion wasn't happy that they couldn't capture the entire Royal Council. They executed Kalesca." Jessica mentioned. "But kept Lucianna alive. She disappeared after the liberation."
"Sounds like a missing person nobody will miss at all." Milla sighed, still holding Jessica close.
"I don't know Milla. Without Kalesca, I am now her heir. But I was never a Kessanna. Me and father built our new house without Lucianna's influence and credits. Literally repaired this place with our two hands." She brought her into a holo-recreation of her house. A Victorian Era home with flying memorabilia. "You ever seen a man with his ten year old daughter dragging tools around. I was just thankful to be away from her treacheries." Jessica smiled. "That's why I'm not the prim and proper 'Oww look at me.. I'm a butterfly.' Kinda person, I'm a Valkyrie." Jess looked at a porcelin statue of a Valkyrie with wings.
"This is a beautiful place." Milla smiled, holding the hand of her own Valkryrie as she looked over the statue, "Is it still around? Like can we visit it?"
"Yup, still standing on Earth. I just like to come in here when my flight cadets make me want to kill them so I don't." Jess grinned.
"Good." Milla laughed, "Not sure even Auntie can get you out of a murder rap." She stopped for a second, a look of contemplation on her face, "Though I'm also not entirely sure she couldn't."
"I wouldn't wish that sh*tstorm on your aunt because we aren't stupid." Jess noted. "C'mon, let me show you the basics of flying a real plane. The holonovels kinda gloss things over a bit."
"Lead on, baby." Milla replied with a loving look, ready to learn everything Jessica could teach her.
