|Personal History||Ryan was born on Earth, raised in Texas. He was named for his father and grandfather of the same title, a family tradition that he is proud to carry. Both his father and grandfather served in Starfleet, but neither managed to make Captain. Ryan aims to go even higher with a goal to become an Admiral one day.
His sister Kandiss followed a different path, becoming an Archeologist. She changes locations almost every month, chasing down the mysteries of the universe and cataloging her findings on her personal holonet.
The parents and grandparents are both retired and living peacefully in Texas back home. Ryan looks forward to the day he can call them to say he made it to the Captain's chair and beyond.
