General Overview Some would say that Triston identifies clearly with the 'Adventurer' personality type.- Adventurer personalities are true artists, but not necessarily in the typical sense where they’re out painting happy little trees. Often enough though, they are perfectly capable of this. Rather, it’s that they use aesthetics, design and even their choices and actions to push the limits of social convention. Adventurers enjoy upsetting traditional expectations with experiments in beauty and behavior – chances are, they’ve expressed more than once the phrase “Don’t box me in!”

And with Triston, it is very true. He does not allow himself to be boxed into things. He does as he sees best.
Strengths & Weaknesses Strengths:
  • Charming - Triston is one of the most popular teens in his year group, and has a wide array of friends.

  • Sensitive to Others – Triston has shown that he is very aware of others around him, but he is not afraid to step in where bullying is happening, as shown when he stepped in to help Miran Lalor with another classmate who was trying to rule her life.

  • Imaginative – While it is hard to see imagination in such a young person, his teachers have stated that his creative writing is very exceptional.

  • Passionate – Triston is passionate about things he likes to do, and people he considers friends.

  • Curious – Triston is very curious and spends hours reading on different subjects, but he really likes digging in the past.

  • Artistic – His sole artistic bent is writing


    • Weaknesses:

  • Fiercely Independent –Triston likes to work on his own or in small controlled group environments where he can control the situation or at least work in conjunction with one other person. He likes being left alone at times to do work by himself.

  • Unpredictable – Due to his nature, Triston's actions can be unpredictable and most do not know how to read him clearly.


  • Fluctuating Self-Esteem – Due to the transient nature of his family life, moving from ship to ship, Triston has shown fluctuating self-Esteem over the years when integrating into new class environments.

    Character Background

    Personal History Triston is an only child of two starfleet officers, both of whom are in science. He is not spoiled like most would think. He was born on the USS Carlyle.

    Over the years he has been on the USS Daintree, the USS Melbourne D and the USS Hawthorne.

    In 2395, he and his parents moved to the USS Elysium, where he has made a few friends, and after finishing his normal schooling, has been accepted into the onboard Academy in 2396.

    His best friend on board is Miran Lalor, the Captain's sister. And while they both have endured a number of teasing events, they have remained friends. If this turns into something more, they have yet to discuss it, and Triston is not about to rush that.
