Hobbies & Interests As a side hustle, well, really to keep busy and out of trouble V works as a bartender aboard whatever ship she's posted at. Her experience as a Risian host is put to good use this way. It also reminds her of home when the vast emptiness of space gets too overwhelming.

Character Background

Personal History Vira 'V' was born and raised on Risa, a pleasure planet known for its perfect weather and tropical resorts. She was born to Reece and Veya Vemre and their partner Mira. V had the perfect childhood, far from the dangers of the universe. Which most beings would consider lucky, not V, she found it boring and lacking.

When she was thirteen she started working at a local resort/spa where she met new interesting species daily. She was nothing but mesmerized by stories from across the galaxy, she even found tales from the Dominion War fascinating. V would gravitate mostly to Starfleet officers, distinguished easily by their uniforms and demeanors. The were always the most behaved, the kindest, the most generous and always more then willing to talk about their missions with her. As she got older she learned how to pick out higher ranking officers and targeted them.

The decision to join Starfleet came as no surprise to her family or friends. Her parents were shocked she had waited so long to tell them. The knew their daughter longed for adventure and a career in Starfleet could give her that. So after passing all the preliminary testing Vira was accepted into Starfleet academy.

V struggled at the academy, coming from a background so laid back she had no structure when it came to time management and making deadlines. Nor did she have discipline to put her studies first, had it not been for her supportive roommate she would have surely failed and been sent packing back to Risa. For that she would be forever indebted to her.
