| Personal History | Garo was born in Yerevan, Earth in 2371. He is the only son of Arpi and Mari and is the youngest for four siblings (three sisters). He was raised in a loving but boisterous home where the dinners were long, the laughter was loud, and everybody at the table had an opinion. Throughout his school years, Garo disliked the structured nature of classes and curriculums and found it difficult to concentrate. Despite this, he found a passion in building and fixing things. Before Starfleet, Garo worked as a systems technician in the civilian sector, repairing satellites. He was encouraged to apply to Starfleet by a former engineer. Despite entering the academy slightly older than most cadets, he graduated in the upper third of his class earning praise for his outside-the-box thinking. His classmates voted him "Chief of Snacks" and "Most Likely to Get an Admiral to say 'Fair Enough'". |
