| General Overview | Two of Eight has a complicated personality, whilst it has been severed from the Collective for sometime its Borg programming remains an ever present aspect of its existence, however as it adapts to life free of the Collective and socializing with others. After a lifetime of serving the Collective Two of Nine has much to learn, which drives its thirst for gaining knowledge and a greater understanding of the galaxy as a whole, so it can better understand where and how it fits into it. Two of Nine as it was originally a member of the Klingon race is quite keen to pursue her native species warrior approach when dealing with its newfound place in the galaxy. |

Character Background
| Personal History | Two of Eight was born on the planet Qo'noS in the year 2238, the only daughter of parents whose names have long been lost to the annals of history, her father was Captain of a freighter, her mother was the Chief Medical Officer on the freighter, she had two older brothers, both of whom were older, one of her brothers died serving the Empire, the other was a crew member of the freighter. Two of Eight grew up spending periods of time aboard the freighter and living on Qo'noS, but she loved it more aboard the freighter, where she spent countless hours with her mother, or annoying the crew of the vessel with endless streams of questions. The ship plied a regular route supplying ships as well as the outposts of the Klingon Empire, most missions were fairly straight forward and non-hazardous, on those occasions the mission was dangerous Two of Eight was not aboard. In the year 2245, the freighter was on a routine mission to deliver supplies to a science outpost when it was detected by the Borg, almost all of the crew aboard including Two of Eight were assimilated, Two of Eight was a juvenile, thus too young to serve the Collective immediately, it was taken directly to the Borg nursery and placed in a Maturation Chamber. Two of Eight remained inside the Maturation Chamber for five years, emerging a fully mature assimilated drone of Species 5008; it was soon given the designation Two of Eight, a general purpose drone. Two of Eight continued to serve the Collective as a drone for the next 70 years, assimilating thousands of new drones into the Collective, it survived the destruction of three Borg vessels, two were lost damaged due to encounters with unknown enemies, and one to an encounter with a special anomaly that fatally damaged the Borg Scout Ship. In the year 2315 Cube 696 was transiting through the Borg transwarp network enroute back to the Delta Quadrant and Borg space when it collapsed, sending Sphere 696 into uncharted territory, damage to the Cube was severe, most drones aboard died within hours, and all but Two of Eight perished due to damage and lack of energy reserves. Two of Eight was found aboard the wrecked Sphere by unknown entities, which took Two of Eight back to their lab, where it was partially unassimilated, it was kept as a subject to be studied, assessed, and for a threat assessment. Attempts to assimilate its captors were unsuccessful. In the year 2398 Two of Eight remained in the ‘care’ of its captors, cut off from the Hive Mind, alone and abandoned, unaware of how long it had been there, let alone what had happened to the Collective in its prolonged absence. Two of Eight was ‘rescued’ by the crew of the USS Elysium, a member of the crew was a Liberated Borg, so Two of Eight was no longer alone, one other who knew the embrace of the Collective was present, its wait for similar company was over. |
