Character Background
| Personal History | Raised on the Terran colony of Brittania which models itself on an idealized vision of Victorian Britain. The Marshal family is one of the leading families and its children are expected to exemplify the best aspects of the world and its culture. To that end they are given the best and most demanding schooling and upbringing. Marmaduke was always expected to do great things nd being accepted into Starfleet Academy is part of that. He had the best education possible and bent all of his efforts to success . . . but he suspects there was some political string-pulling involved in his appointment. But however he managed to get in, he is determined to prove that he belongs here and that Brittania is a valuable member of the Federation. He works hard to prove himself and to carve out free time to play sports and explore the world around him. He has debated at length whether tactical or command is the best path forward for him and has currently decided on tactical, with a strong secondary in command. |
