Physical Description		An'dalus is a Bipedal Mammalian equine. She is slender and petite for her race, though still far stronger than any humanoid. Sequus have been described by Starfleet officers, although standing on two legs, resembling Earth Equine populations closely, as well as being completely alien. Both sexes are noted to have long, muscular legs that resemble the hind legs of an earth horse. This also includes large hooves at the end of each extremity. Both males and females possess four nipples, though the lower two on females are usually much smaller and normally without a breast; subsequently, they lack any mammary glands and do not produce milk, though it is not unheard of for two much smaller breasts to develop that can. Their hands are four-fingered - two index fingers with a thumb on either side of the hand, and have evolved to be just as dexterous as other sentient humanoid species. Males within the race are known to be broader and physically larger compared to their female counterparts, but only by a small margin. Whereas the females have less pronounced and more rounded features, typically having a shorter nasal bone and overall shorter length to their skull. Skin and overall hair colours and patterns can vary greatly from one individual Sequus to the point it is used as a form of universal identification, similar to how every human fingerprint is unique, the hair length can also vary greatly depending on which hemisphere and climate an individual has originated from. The Sequus also possess long flowing tails and thick manes that run down the ridge of their back, sometimes connecting to the tail hair with some individuals. Both manes and tails are usually tied up in an ornate fashion, using jewellery or a patterned fabric to express themselves. Like all Sequellians, An'dalus is covered from Hoof to brow in thick but very short hair, which ranges from snow white to dark cream. Her cream-coloured mane is adorned with strands and knots of hair from other Sequus, tied together with jewellery and coloured silks, a practice the Sequus call mane bonding. Her usual appearance is similar to that of other Sequus, wearing as little as possible but just enough so as not to offend the sensibilities of Federation citizens and their customs.

General Overview

An'Dalus is a High Priestess of the Mortuary Cult, the religious arm of the ruling Matriarchy on Sequella. Her duties, besides serving the royal court, are to oversee the social and reproductive health of her people... determining which family herd should mate with whom and training lower rank priestesses in their duties. Because of this heavily biased and female-led society, her views on males from other species are often outright contemptuous, if not directly hostile. Though she has learned to deal with these preconceived biases after spending time with the crew of the Elysium, she still sees herself as superior in every regard. A xenophobic view that many of her kind have of humanoids. -- Strong-willed and determined, she views nearly everyone aboard the Elysium as a child, no doubt attributed to her incredibly long lifespan, a deeply guarded secret of the Mortuary Cult. This tends to make her come across as patronising and dismissive of others, as she both figuratively and physically looks down at everyone.
