Her ceremonial bone gauntlets are carved with battles, fallen companions and sworn obligations. Molten-copper eyes and a scarred cranial crest give her an unmistakable presence. Rin’thar crest scars record battles survived while carrying command responsibility, not victories. |

| General Overview | Proud, direct, passionate and highly disciplined. Thal’ra does not conceal anger, grief or hatred; Rin’thar culture judges whether emotion commands the individual, not whether the emotion exists. She dislikes euphemism, empty rhetoric and threats made without intent. She respects people who contradict her directly. Her notorious statement that diplomacy is “the art of cowards with quills” is usually quoted without the rest of the sentence: “Diplomacy without consequence is the art of cowards with quills. Diplomacy backed by consequence is simply another battlefield.” Rin’thar Oaths Ordinary commitments may be renegotiated. A blood-oath cannot. Breaking one is considered worse than death and the obligation may pass to family or command lineage. If Thal’ra swears to defend Erebus or its governing agreement, that promise should carry exceptional weight. |

| Personal History | Thal’ra rose through years of conflict with the Thaih’ea. Her defining engagement stopped a Thaih’ea force from glassing the third moon of the Rin’thar homeworld. Three quarters of her force was lost. Rin’thar history records the battle as a victory. Thal’ra does not. When asked why, she has answered: “A victory is when your children come home.” |
