| Physical Description | Varnians are avian-descended humanoids from predatory flighted ancestors, though flightless for thousands of years. They possess acute forward-facing vision, rapid visual processing, feather-like cranial crests, light but strong skeletons, high metabolisms, four-digit hands and natural bioluminescent markings. Modern elites commonly use extensive cybernetic augmentation. Keth is tall and broad-shouldered with a narrow, sharply defined face and a hardened ridge along the nose reminiscent of a short raptor beak. His skin is pale ivory-grey and pearlescent. Blue-white bioluminescent circuitry-like markings cross his temples, throat, hands and upper chest. His crest is dark silver with age/status white streaks. Both eyes are sophisticated cybernetic replacements with dark metallic irises and visible data flicker. |
