Mission Summary

Warp capable for the past 700 years, the Galtonians were forced to leave their world when a rogue comet passed too close and irradiated their atmosphere. They are a warrior/pack hunting race, whose only desire is to conquer/destroy all other races. After several centuries of living in space, they no longer crave a homeworld of their own, instead considering the main flotilla of their surviving dreadnoughts to be home. They use the stolen technology of other races to keep their ships operational. The few times that they decide to take prisoners, those poor souls become slave labor. The less fortunate, become food.

Every cycle (roughly 2 Earth years), there is a ritual tournament among the entire clan. Each pack sends their best warrior to the tournament ship, where several different contests are held. The contests will show each warrior's strength, stamina, endurance, intelligence, cunning, martial skill and hunting prowess.

Of the nearly fifty contestants sent to the tournament ship, only the top five are elevated to pack hunter Alphas. The are given the honor of setting out from the Home Fleet, in search of food and supplies.

Those that fail to impress the Queen and her Alpha Male, are taken to the Medical ship, where they are lobotomized, implanted with a rudimentary control computer, plus numerous other cybornetic enhancements. When the surgeries are finished, they are a mindless killing machine, set loose on any target that the hunting Alphas encounter. They cannot be bargained with, they cannot respond to pleas for mercy. Their only task, attack and kill. They are loyal to their pack Alphas, and unwaveringly loyal to the Home Fleet Alphas.

As the Elysium continues her tireless journey to try and find a way home, they are set upon by a Galtonian scout ship. It soon sends word back to the Home Fleet of fresh meat and technology unlike any before discovered.

What begins then, is a race against time. Will the crew of the Elysium discover a way to either outrun or out-fight their relentless pursuers?

During all of this, an old enemy shows it's face unexpectedly. Will they decide to help the Elysium and her brave crew, or use them for their own gains.
