OOC: Gary's quarters after Christmas Ball.


IC: Gary had returned to his quarters after the party....alone. Lia had split out earlier and by the time the party had ended it was too late
to go by and see her. He sat on the edge of the bed and looked at the picture of Catlin and himself, speaking softly to it. "The party was
nice. You would have loved it. Phoenix that is the captain did an absolutely first rate job in organizing, coordinating and pulling everything
together without a hitch." He picked the picture up and continued to talk, "I met Gallia Norris and Kara Hoffman's little girl Tayalas. What
a delightful and precious child. She said her first word at the party and you know what it was? Sana! Can you believe it?" He laughed as
he remembered it.

His voice took on a somber tone, "I'm worried about Lia. Maybe I'm overreacting but I think her not being second officer anymore is beginning
to bother her. I didn't want to talk to her about it at the party. That wasn't the place but I will talk to her let her know I'm always here for her."

He took a deep breath before continuing, "I'm going to ask Lia to move in with me. I don't know what she will say. I hope yes but she may
feel that sharing quarters and working together is too confining for her." He shook his head, "Well, one thing is for sure, I won't know until I
ask her. I hope you aren't mad Catlin, I do love her and she me. We're a good match and I think we're good for each other."
