“You want me to do what?!” Phoenix stared at the commodore before her. “No.” She added in case she wasn’t fully coherent.

“You have your orders Captain.”

“Orders which are stupid.” The Erisian replied bluntly.

The Commodore raised an eyebrow. “Captain” She said firmly.

“Was this Sharr’s idea?” Phoenix interrupted.

“Ho-How did you find out about Sharr’s return?” The blond commodore asked curiously.

Phoenix crossed her arms and stared at the woman. “Oh come on Carla. I am not stupid nor am I blind. I read reports like anyone and his name popped up about 6 months ago. Now, was this Sharr’s dumb idea?”

“No. Admiral Sharr is not in any way involved in this situation.”

“Well that’s one point in his favour.” Phoenix muttered, but to be honest she was not mad at Sharr for not dropping by and telling his former crew that he had returned to the Milky Way. She had considered it for a moment and then told herself that it was normal for people to put things behind them. It was something she struggled with herself.

“Captain your orders are clear.”

“As I said the Orders are stupid” Phoenix studied Carla over the desk. Her posture basically said ‘Make me follow them.’

20 minutes later….

Phoenix stood in the middle of the bridge and hit the comm. “Attention all crew. The ship will undergo decontamination protocols in t-minus 5 hours. You have until then to remove yourself from the Ship.” She paused. “Computer, broadcast the message in a countdown clock.”

She turned and headed to her ready room. “Oh and Send for Commander Holmes and Commander Taylor and Captain Styles. In my ready room. ASAP.”
