It was time to desl with Taylor's inquisitors. Someone waited for Heather in her quarters now the mask of insanity had been somewhat removed.

It wad utterly brilliant. Being the insane wretch in the bowels of the Elysium. Everyone ignored her. They were used to ignoring her. Now she waited with a phaser and a knife. With the amount of agony on the ship, it overwhelmed even the most disciplined telepath.

Madness was a weapon.

Heather arrived home after a long day she hadn’t been expecting company but she sensed it immediately.

"Hello Heather."

Near the kitchen table and in a patch of darkness sat a very composed Jessica. "I'm afraid the time has come for me to eradicate the inquisitors here."

“Hello Jessica” Heather looked at Jessica. “I have to admit I was expecting you to appear at some point, I just wasn’t sure when.”

Jessica stood and elegantly flipped the knife in her hand. "I have removed every obstacle for this Federation Crew. They will have their freedom, and their revenge. You all were fooled." Jessica laughed insanely. "You were fooled thinking I was a broken madwoman, but the thing about Betazoids is we have a remarkable ability to recover from mental trauma. It took me years to reform some sanity. But I'm still quite insane. I fooled the hunters by dragging them away to feed the doggies so they'd be too full to eat these people. I removed the most tortured of their crew and replaced them with their own torturers so more Jessicas wouldn't be made. I removed poor Josephine so she wouldn't squeal to Taylor about Arrianna being replaced by her alternate." Jessica laughed insanely.

"Now all that's left is you and Alicia... and oh boy. Does Arrianna ever have a delicious plan for Aliciia." Jessica laughed insanely. "The Viceroy attempted to make Arrianna her sock puppet. But she did not know that these Alindari are given mental training and discipline from birth. She crushed her into a vegetable."

"Now it's your turn to be a vegetable. Or maybe you'll be the meat. Either way, You can't make a brain stew without the meat and the veggies. That sounds like a good idea. Making a stew out of you." Jessica flipped the knife in the air and caught it without effort. "You shouldn't have served the empire."

"I don't serve the empire!" Heather folded her arms across her chest. "I was taken from Betazed the same as you were. I was just a teenager, thrown into those agoniser booths and a chip put in my head to make sure I behave!" She sighed. "I've spent years serving Taylor and his empire and I've hated every moment of it ... I've worked my way up to where I am to be beyond suspicion."

"Oh I hate the chip too. Hate it, hate it, HATE IT!!! Makes me behave. Hurts me when I don't." Jess noted. "But you don't serve the empire. THAT'S WHAT FILTHY COWARDLY JOSEPHINE SAID, and I made the bad mermaid swim with the fishes." She noted. "So, you hate the Terrans? There's only one way to prove that, Josephine lied... lying mermaid!! Lets see if you're lying. Not to worry, I won't damage anything. No more Jessicas, EVER!! No more girls like me spending months in agony. No more Jessica's being made from these people he's taken. Too good to be Jessicas." Jessica reached into Heather's mind. She wanted proof.

Heather clutched at her head as Jessica pushed her way past her mental defences and into her mind. Digging into images of her past and how she was treated by the empire. Her start was a cruel one and for a time she was an obedient servant until more recently.

Jessica dropped the knife. "You are a Jessica too..." She stated.

Heather nodded. "They wanted to ensure my loyalty, if it wasn't for the resistance I'd still be a loyal slave!" She massaged her temples.

"Go to the one who has taken the Viceroy's place. Help her. Can't stay sane for long, chip does not know what to do with madness. Tell your Resistance we are at their service. We have only one price." Jessica noted. "Now to move onto the next bad deed." She stated.

"Five little Terrans sitting in a tree, torturing USS Elysium. Along came their resistance, quiet as can be, snap those Terrans out of their tree." Jessica noted. "Madness... helps confuse the chip."

"I'll tell them I promise you that" Heather nodded. "You said about Alicia ... what of her son? he's just an innocent child."

She looked at Heather. "No more Jessicas. If Alicia whores for Taylor, she enemy. Still harlot and Taylor's bitch.... she dies." Jessica was not fooling around. "Any who chooses to be slave. They die with their Empire. Then.... we.. can die... No one live like us."

"Don't give up Jessica" Heather looked at the other woman. "When the empire is no more maybe they can find a way to get these chips out of our heads."

Jessica looked. "If they cannot fix me.... make sure I don't live like this." She shed a tear. "Send Alicia message; Stay a Harlot and a Bitch; she dies... Instantly!!!" Jessica picked up her knife. "I go do more bad deeds for USS Elysium."

Heather nodded. "That's if Taylor doesn't kill Alicia first" she looked at Jessica. "Be careful Jessica."

"And be careful with the Viceroy's alternate. Peaceful women are vicious when driven to war." Jessica left as swiftly as she came.
