The next day, Napoleon went to work in Engineering working on the several tasks. He had gotten to work at six in the morning as he felt his adrenaline has went into overdrive. He kept thinking about Olivia as he played out so many scenarios in his head. Finally Napoleon realized he had to slow down a bit.

Victor reported at 0730 that morning. Seeing Napoleon working, he checks to see when Napoleon came in. "Napoleon, you came in very early. Any reason why?"

"Sir," Napoleon says as he looks up, "I promised Marcellus I will put in the data for the plant rotation. I am almost finished. Sir, I ran into Doctor Voight last night. She reminded me I have not have my physical yet. She has an opening at 0900 hours."

"Sure take it and Napoleon," Victor says as he sensed something, "Relax. You have my permission to take a longer lunch hour. I do not want people to think I am working people to death. By the way, good job."

"Thank you Sir," Napoleon smiled. Breathing in, he went back to work.

Right at the time Napoleon finished, The Agricultural Engineer Lt. JG Marcellus Sattine an Dasa walks in. "Good morning everyone."

"Good morning Marcellus," Napoleon answers. "Perfect timing, I just finished putting in all the data."

Marcellus went to his console as he saw he was correct. "Wow, I was not expecting it till 10. Thank you very much."

"Well I thought it was time sensitive due to we are dealing with plants," Napoleon responds.

"True but you getting the work in helped the Botanists tremendously," Marcellus looked at the way it will interfaced with the other environmental systems. "Your understanding the knowledge of what we need shows. You will be surprised how many non-Agriculture Engineers have no idea of the subject."

"At the Academy," Napoleon answers, "In a Systems class I had, there was a chapter on Agricultural Systems."

"I know," Marcellus replied, "Question is how many Engineers retain the knowledge after graduating. I have often noticed there are those who are trying to pass the course. Once the course is over with, they forget."

The two of them talked for little more than an hour. Napoleon left Engineering to head to Medical. He came in as he saw he was ten minutes early. Napoleon takes a seat. The nurse gave him an IPADD so he could fill in a questionnaire. Napoleon answered all the questions. After he hands it back to the nurse, he went to go sit down.

Olivia walked into the waiting area. Napoleon immediately stood up. "Good morning Olivia. I am ready to have my physical."

"Good morning Napoleon," Olivia replied in return. "Follow me over to one of the biobeds and we will get started on your physical."

Napoleon followed Olivia to the biobed as ordered. He kicked off his boots gently. Napoleon sat on the Biobed as requested. Some doctors want their patients to weigh themselves. He looks at Olivia as he sat up. Trying to make small talk, he started, "I enjoyed our time and talk last night."

Olivia picked up one of the tricorders opened it up so that she could get a few scans on it. She also tapped a few buttons on the biobed for it to get other readings for her as well. "I enjoyed out time and talk as well," Olivia replied. "Have you had any problems since your last physical?"

"Acid reflux and insomnia," Napoleon answers. "It usually goes away the next day but the past few days it it seems to have stayed for about three days now. That was one of the reasons I was in the Arboreteum. The other was to play a game of chess with no distractions. I am glad you came when you did. It was the first time I felt relaxed."

Olivia checked over the readings she was getting from the tricorder and the biobed. "Well from the scans, I've found part of the problem," Olivia said. "Your cholesterol is a bit high and you have hypertension." Olivia checked over a couple more scans before continuing. "How have you been eating lately?"

"Oh my," Napoleon said surprised, "I thought I had been eating okay but then if I miss a meal like breakfast, I eat more at lunchtime. I do have it programmed into the computer where all you have to do is ask what I have been eating and it will tell you."

"I'm sure it would," Olivia replied. "Main thing now is to correct a few things so that it will help fix the problems that you are having currently. Plus, you don't need to be skipping meals either, for that could continue to make things worse for you in the long run."

“Thing is, sometimes I do not even think about eating,” Napoleon sighed. “I am going to have to have the computer to set up eating times. Hope you cam recommend a good diet. See what I have been eating and substitute what I should not be eating with what I should be eating. Both my grandfathers died from strokes brought on by what you just described about what I have. What else should I do?”

"I can give you some recommendations," Olivia replied. "Main thing will be to make sure you change things up daily as much as you can so that you don't get to bored with what you are eating for that meal. Also, somethings it might be good to start off gradual on some of the changes so that not such a shock to your system all at once.'

"Wise advice," Napoleon exhaled. "I need to relax. Slow down. Make small steps. Did you know on the ship there are many types of vegetables and fruits that are grown. Is it possible that replicated food could be affecting my health? I looked at the replicator algorithms and everything is in order."

"There is a chance that could be happening," Olivia replied. "You may want to see about gradually adding in some of the fresh food to see how it affects your health. Keep a record of the changes you make and how it affects your daily routine. That way you will be able to track things on what works for you and what doesn't work in the long run."

"I shall do that," Napoleon said looking into her eyes for a moment. "What else do I need to do for the physical?"

"That is it for the time being," Olivia replied. "We will check things again a couple months or so to how the readings are compared to the ones gotten this morning.

"Perfect," Napoleon says with a charming smile. "I shall see you at 1800 hours st your quarters. I will escort you to the restaurant on Deck 10. How does that sound?"

Olivia could feel a tingle down her spots as she replied , "Sounds good."

Napoleon took a deep breath as he tells her with a gentleman smile, "I shall see you then."
