Gallia had not been able to take her mind off of Kara, but now she couldn't take it off of Baeryn. Baeryn made such an impression on Tayalas, like Kara had, and made her wonder if she could love her as she had Kara. "Nah, prolly doesnae like me anyway." She blew the idea off, hard as it wanted to hold on.

Yet, she couldn't help but think of Baeryn and the way she seemed to enjoy every second with Tay, she might be a great mum for her child. That made Gallia laugh, the fact that she would let Tay be the one choosing her life partner, who she would spend the rest of her days with.

But Tay had been better at picking them than Gallia had, after all, Tay chose Kara and didn't like Selina. Selina, who had left her, versus Kara who...had left her. Okay, that was a bad example, but it showed that Tayalas knew who her mommy was and knew what kind of women would be good for her.

Knew ma friends, too, and helped me out there. Estelle, Anje, Sami, it was easy enough to win 'em over, but harder to keep 'em, well, harder for someone that didnae have a blueberry on her hip.

Pint bein' I need someone, and it don't hurt if Tay loves 'em as much as I dae, in fact, tha's a bonus right there. I need someone who loves mah Daughter as well, need someone like Kara.

Can she though? I mean, it's interestin' to think on, but it doesnae arrive at any conclusion and it just begs mar questions.

I want to find something, something ta hold onta here, but nothing has happened yet. Maybe nothing ever will, maybe nothing is here, I dunno, but this is the best I can do. And she probably doesnae like me anyway.

Okay, so Baeryn Whavi prolly doesnae like me no way, but still, won't hurt to ask would it? An' she already like Tayalas, tha's a good thing. An' Tayalas already likes her, tha's even better. They hafta like each other, Tay an' whoever I want te date, or it's never gonna work, found that out with Selina for sure. Tay is the center of ma universe now, has te be, whoever wants in on the shit show has te love Tay.

So why not Baeryn? Why not?

Of course ye know I'm right, this can work, even if I cannae see it happenin' is what. I'll talk it over with Lt. Whavi, see what she thinks, but farst I gotta make sure I'm over Kara. I gotta be over her good is what, o'er her to beat the band. Jus' feel so bad, thinking about givin' up on Kara with her away, with Tay lovin' her so much, there has to be some way to know this is right. God, i need ye now, mum, ye always knew the right words for any situation. Or Dolana, I could use me sister for sure, but then I wouldnae have Tay.

She was my, I guess, consolation prize for losin' me sister. And Selina. Aye, Tay cost a lot, but she's worth every pence.
