Victor was sitting in his quarters as he thought about Tonya past and present tense. The Tonya from other Reality, she was constantly getting injured as she would act first and think later. Eventually this behavior got herself killed which became the coldest day of his life.

Now fate has himself in this reality, the original one a person might say. This Tonya is doing the same as the other one. She did the heroine bit on the last mission but it caused her to get injured again. Victor pressed his communication badge, "Lt. Tonya King, how was the doctor visit?"

Tonya was back in her quarters sitting up in her recliner, "It was great. The doctor suggested I stay off of my feet. I am sitting in my recliner, working on Engineering Reports, so Alice can have a couple of days off. Lara will stay with me for a couple of days. Hope you do not mind. We are really bonding tremendously. Plus I am now calling her my Quantum Daughter and Temporal Daughter, hope you found not mind as well. Victor, I am really enjoying helping Alice. What do you think about me transferring to Logistics."

Victor smiled a bit. "First it is great you are helping Alice and Lara staying with you. I personally think just calling her daughter but Quantum Daughter sounds nice. As far as Logistics, if that is what you want, you should go for it. I do not know in this universe but there have been Engineers who have managed to make it to Chief of Logistics. One even made it to Captain. Is there a Captain Jedediah Solomon in this universe?"

"In this universe," Tonya replied, "He is a Rear Admiral. My sister Mira was named after his wife."

"Your sister Mira never told me that," Victor answers as he thought about conversations with Captain Mira King.

"Victor," Tonya says as she touched her heart softly, "I have done a lot of thinking on that last mission. Why don't you come over tomorrow night and we see how second base might turn out."

"I would like that very much," Victor says as there was an unconscious inflection in his voice. "What about Lara?"

Lara butted in to the conversation. "I will be taking care of Vick. It will be just the two of you."

"Tonya," Victor says, "I will see you tomorrow night. Put in a transfer to Logistics. See you later."

"Later Victor," Tonya says as she cuts the communication off.

After the communication was broken, Lara says looking at Tonya. "Tomorrow, I am going to have to help you with your hair. Your hair is a mess."

"That would be nice daughter," Tonya answered hugging Lara. "Can you keep a secret?"

"Yes Mom," Lara said cocking her head to the side adorably.

"I am in love with your father," Tonya said caressing Lara's cheeks. "I want it to happen but right now, I am trying to get all my ducks in a row so Victor will make the big step. A lady takes her time and a gentleman should wait. Spontaneous to rush it, this heart will not meld with his."

"I understand," Lara says hugging Tonya.
