"Injuries and faulty programs?" Myne asked looking at Vira and swallowing visibly and audibly. "Erm... maybe we should have called for Security before coming here?" Yep, Myne was scared, no one told her holodecks were dangerous, she assumed that stuff would just give you a bonk or something like that.

Looking at the data as well, Myne looked around them on the battlefield. "Erm, Vira, what did you mean by horses? I see nothing on four legs around here. Except counting that group over there of people in armor charging on their hands and legs." She said pointing towards what was clearly a glitch.

Vira pointed to a piece of the code, "Doesn't that say horses?" She squinted her eyes to verify her finding. "But I don't see any on the field so how could they be using the most power?" She gave the open field a once over before calling out to the computer, "Computer, remove all humanoids." All the men disappeared, leaving just dropped weapons' and mudded fields. "Yeah see, no horses."

Approaching Vira and just trying to clean some of the mud off of herself, Myne looked again. "Yes it does." Giving the field a glance as well once the soldiers were removed by Vira, Myne frowned. "Hmmm, this is weird. So weird. Oh! I got an idea, Vira tell the computer to make the ground transparent. Maybe the horses have glitched through the ground and are moving under us?"

Vira laughed lightly as she looked at the ACHOPS officer, "You don't want to try it?" She teased.

"Erm, just in case something does go wrong and we happen to fall through the floor as well... to our doom of course, I'd rather have my last thoughts being: 'It was not my fault!'" Myne chuckled and wrinkled her nose at Vira and gently wrapped her fingers around her fellow officer's upper arm. Just for safety, not to use Vira to cushion her fall or anything like that. Nope!

A mischievous grin graced the Risian's face. Suddenly her gaze shot to an object behind Myne. Vira gasped and pointed, "LOOK OUT!" She shouted and pretended to take cover. There was nothing coming for them but Vira, forever the impractical joker, wanted to see her reaction.

Myne turned immediately, letting go of Vira's arm and looking worried behind her. Yes, for all intents and purposes Myne had the instincts of an Earth hare. Very much easy to scare, prank, fool and make fun off. She never pretended to be innocent, she kind of was, the ways the galaxy worked kind of slipped by way over her head. Especially when it came to people. "What? Where? I don't see anything!!" She exclaimed still looking around worried.

Vira doubled over with laughter, her hand holding her stomach as if it were sure to spill its contents on the holdecks floor. After a few moments she worked to regain her composure. "I'm going to enjoy how gullible you are." She said between large intakes of air.

"What? What happened?" The Trill turned to look at Vira, while still stealing glances around them. "Are you alright? Is this some strange Risian disease? Do you want me to call medical?" Then it clicked and she narrowed her eyes at Vira, folding her arms in front of her. "You were doing one of those prank things, weren't you. Meanie!! You are a big meanie!" Myne pouted dramatically.

"Awe," She drew out the word. "You don't really believe that." She took hold of Myne's elbow to keep her steady for the change in surrounding. "Ready? Okay good. Computer, create a transparent floor, one that will allow us to see below the surface." Vira didn't wait for Myne to respond before giving the command. Before either woman had time to process the change, the floor fell out from under them. It seemed like they were floating above air, the contents below the surface now visible.

"I do, totally a big meanie." She stuck her tongue out at Vira rather adorably before nodding, still looking at her friend to be sure she was not pulling another prank. "Yeah, I... gya!!" Myne screamed, completely taken by surprise as she really thought she was about to fall for a moment. "Crap! That was scary. You are bad for my heart Vira!! I am so not looking down. Oh I need a moment." She exhaled and looked up building the courage to look down.

Vira grabbed Myne with both hands, hiding her own fear at the sight below them with a chuckle. She briefly glanced down before focusing on the trill. "It's like the zero gravity room, but were not floating." She reassuringly patted the other girls forarm.

"Clearly you never had a floor crumble under you and had to fall several stories!!" Myne raised her tone still a bit scared as she leaned against Vira. Yep, Vira would still make for a good cushion, better keep her close just in case. "Totally need some time in that zero grav room. Sooo..." She swallowed and finally looked down. "Craaaap, it's worse when you look down!!" Myne whimpered and she could feel herself going a bit dizzy. "I hate whoever made this program sooo much!!"

Vira bit the side of her tongue to keep from laughing. She knew she would enjoy Myne's eccentric ways but this was next level amusement for the Risian. There was also a part of her that felt bad about scaring her, and then the shame set in. Vira knew distraction from the situation would be the best way to handle it so....she did the first thing that came to mind. Vira took a bit of skin from behind Myne's arm and pinched it, slightly harder then necessary.

How afraid Myne might be, she did have one thing going for her. Being pinched did not make her flinch. Actually, for some reason Myne did not even notice the pinch. Actually come to think of it, she was so used to burns and shocks by now, not to mention being distracted enough, that she offered no reaction to Vira. "Seriously, who makes a program with such a huge area under the map? I mean, think of how useless it is and how much energy this alone might consume to always render it..."

Confusion and...disappointment colored Vira's features. "Hmm." That surely wasn't how she had expected the trill to respond. She tried pinching Myne again, ignoring her ramblings now that her curiosity was peeked.

If anything Myne brought her hand to swipe at the area that Vira was punching her before raising her head to look around. "Does this simulation have bugs? I think something bit me. Wait, can't be, it is paused right?" She asked bringing her and to rub the place of the latest pinch. "This is a weird sim." She looked back down, bringing her PaDD and starting to type on it, trying to bring some metadata to the front.

Vira pouted. Did she just refer to her as a bug. She opened her mouth to actually bite Myne but quickly thought better of it and clamped her mouth shut with a clinking of teeth. She looked down again, her mind moving to the issue at hand. "Do you think they built the other stimulation on top of this one? Someone not really knowing what they're doing?"

"Might be? Might be not. Might just be poor planning. Or an inexperienced programmer. Or the user just ordered the holodeck to implement things without thinking it through. The holodeck computer is smart, but not that smart. It doesn't interpret intentions really. So if the user was vague in their commands, it could lead to something like this. I have no idea!" Myne began to talk in a flurry, fascinated by the situation and this simulation.

The Risian was only half listening, still bothered by the little effect her pinches had. Was she so easily ignored? So simply brushed off? Swatted away like a fly. Oh, that thought did not sit well with her at all. Her hazel eyes narrowed into slits. We'll see who's ignored. She thought as she leaned in and bite the meaty part of Myne's upper arm.

"Ouch!" The Trill turned her head to look at Vira, but did not flinch or move to push her away. Instead looking at the woman as she still was biting her arm. "Oh?! Were you pinching me before?" Bringing her hand to Vira's head she used two fingers to tap on Vira's head. "Down girl, down, no biting." Myne chuckled. "You look rather cute doing that. Erm... speaking of, why are you doing that?"

Gingerly, Vira removed her mouth from Myne's arm. "I detest being ignored..." She wrinkled her nose as she righted herself. Still pouting. "And you insinuated I was a BUG. So, logically, I felt the need to prove I was not." She stated matter-of-factly.

"Oh?" Myne blushed. "Sorry, did not mean to say those words. They just came out, I was unfocused for a moment. Will not happen again. But if it helps, you were cute trying to be a puppy." She continued trying to look less guilty, before patting Vira on the head as she would a cute pet. "Do you bite anyone? Or just me because you like me?!"

"No. Your the first one, outside of the bedroom, I've been inclined to bite and I'm not sure if that's good or bad yet...." She swatted at Myne's hand as she patted her head. "Am I really so small to you?" She smiled as she contemplated biting the other females hand if she tried to pat her again.

"Well, I was shot, stabbed, tortured, drowned, burned, and quite a few more uglier things. So biting is kind of harmless, I don't mind it. Not sure if you should do it in the bedroom unless you mean you like to bite your pillow. Just don't bite yourself!" Myne offered sage advice as she raised her hand again to pat Vira.

Vira's hazel eyes narrowed as they fiercely watched Mynes hand. Her eyes slowly shifted towards the other woman's in a silent dare.

Looking defensive and a bit intimidated, Myne's hand retreated just briefly. Before dashing forward and quickly ruffling Vira's hair while Myne broke into carefree laughter.

For a split second Vira let her guard down seeing Myne retract her hand. She wasn't even sure how it happened but suddenly her hair was a mess and her achops was laughing. Trying to stand her ground Vira placed both hands on her hips but it wasn't in her to be so serious, so in seconds her mask broke and she doubled over in laughter as well. She would plot her revenge later... keep Myne on her toes.

Retrieving her hand Myne smiled and gave Vira a quick hug. Breaking it just as quickly. "Thank you Vira. You are cool by the way and funny. I think we can be really really good friends if you wanna." Vira's reaction had put a lot of Myne's worries at ease, this was a person she could feel was good. Just what she needed to root her.

The hug surprised her, she hadn't expected that sort of reaction from Myne after she tried to bite her. But the hug also gave Vira warm feeling, she couldn't remember who aside from her family she had hugged last. "I would like to be your friend actually, as long as you don't compare me to anymore bugs." She smiled at her.

Pouting, Myne sighed. "Fine, no more bugs. How about... birds, small mammals, small reptiles or fish? I read somewhere that friends give each other cute nicknames!! I always wanted to give someone a nickname!"

Curiosity got the better of her as Vira asked, "What would you nickname me?! Aside the nicknames from my parents, V is what most people call me."

"Hmmm. On the spot? By instinct alone, I would go with Nerdy! Or Chirpy? Or now after recent developments Bitey! What do you think?" The Trill asked excitedly.

"Nerdy?!" Vira exclaimed, clearly disliking it. "I mean bitey does sound better then the other options, so if that's what you choose I guess Bitey it is! I don't think people have too much of a say in the nicknames others give them." She shrugged hiding how secretly delighted she was to be receive a nickname regardless of how it sounded.

"Come on, Nerdy is really cute!! Though Bitey is really even cuter. And more accurate miss little-I-bite-everything-in-sight!! Very well, Bitey it is from now on!! You can pick a nickname for me too! Just don't make it worm-girl, honestly, it is so overused by now. I crave some originality!" Myne chuckled and ruffled Vira's hair again with a naughty grin.

"Worm-girl seems....mean." Vira gave a sour expression on the tasteless nickname. "I'll have to think on one for you, I want it to be special." She gave the trill a smile before turning back to their surroundings. "So where were we with this again?"

"Well it is mean. It is meant to be insulting by denigrating the fact that I have a symbiont, which is compared to a worm. A lesser type of creature. And reducing my self-worth as a female to the worm inside of me. Kinda smart if you think about it. The first time that is, after that it just gets boring because no one seems to say anything else original!" Myne's long-winded answer contained a lot of fascination. She did not seem offended by having had that term used against her. If anything, she was kind of fascinated by it. "I will await for my nickname with bated breath! Now, back to finding out what is causing the power drain in this program!!"
