Rare Day Off

Olivia was using one of her rare days off to take care of a few things that had been placed on the back burner so to speak for awhile now due to all that had been going on lately for her and the rest of the crew of the Elysium. One of the many things on her list that she had been slowly working on when she got the chance to work on some of the items was to do a bit of cleaning and re-arranging a few things in her quarters. There was also laundry of some sort to do every few days, but that was one of those never ending things that had to be done every few days it seemed. While she was waiting for some of the laundry she had going to finish up Olivia sat down at her desk to answer a few letters to her parents and brothers, as well as a few friends she had kept in touch with since her Academy days. After finishing up the letters she needed to her parents, brothers, and her Academy friends, Olivia sat there at her desk for a moment thinking over a few things to see if there was anything she needed to do before getting up from her desk.
After thinking about things for a little while, Olivia smiled a little and thought that she would do a quick little letter to a certain little Blueberry in hopes that it would reach her at some point. She missed seeing the little girl and hoped that she was doing well with her mother where ever they were at this point in time. Olivia wasn’t sure what duty station Gallia had at this time, but she hoped that things were going well and that Blueberry was making some new friends as well. Hopefully they would get to visit one day in the future and Olivia and everyone here on the Elysium that loved the little girl would get to see how well she was doing and also show her that they hadn’t forgotten about her at all.
After finishing up what she needed to do in her quarters for the time being, Olivia headed out to do a bit of shopping that needed to be done for herself and maybe find a few other items at the same time that might come in handy at some point down the road at the same time. Olivia had found what she wanted food wise in a couple of the stores and had them sent back to her quarters so that she would be able to continue to do a little more shopping and checking out some of the other shops at the same time that she didn’t get to visit all that often.
Olivia spotted a shop that had a bunch of different baby items in it and thought about the Commander and his new grand-daughter. She knew that the new addition to the family was keeping him a bit busier with helping to look after the little one as well as her older brother. Walking through the shop, Olivia found a couple of little outfits that she thought would be adorable for the newest member of the Elysium family and held onto them while she continued to look around. One of the little outfits that Olivia had found was a one piece outfit that had little bunny rabbits all over it. The other little outfit was a little sleeper outfit with the feet in them. Olivia spotted a small t-shirt that would be perfect for little Connor and got it, for she didn’t him feeling left out with his little sister getting a couple of outfits to wear. The t-shirt that she picked out had printed on it “Greatest Big Brother” and it would be perfect for him. Olivia headed up to the register and paid for the items that she had picked out and then head on out to the next shop to see what they had to offer.
