" Oh Sthilg your my hero. " The alien princess aid wrapping her arms around Sthilg as he twirled his plasma gun back into it's holster the tyrant of Kdzma lying dead with a hole in his head.

" Just doing my job my dear." He said as he put his arms around the blue-skinned alien princess. " No one is a ........"

Bang.

Sthilgs eye's flicked open as the bagging continued. Finding himself back in the healer's warm hut his mind instantly thought to the hot cauldron he had been supposed to be attending. Swearing to himself he sprung up and stirred the now thick glue-like mixture. Thanking the all mother it hadn't burned to cinders he kicked some of the dirt onto the fire before grabbing his jacket and opening the door.

Stepping into the small airlock of the building he cursed as the outer door started opening and the heat his body had gathered in the warm hut instantly vanished. The bulk that could only be his father fully dressed up in his work gear greeted him as he thrust the climbing outfit into the young reptile's hands. " Get dressed we need to move." His dad barked

" Dad wha........." He began before his white eyes saw what was wrong. The night sky was aflame as burning wreckages streaked across the sky. Even Sthilg knew what that meant. A ship had come in badly partly breaking up in the atmosphere as it fell.

" I didn't think we had any ships incoming for over a week. " Sthilg asked as he dressed in the gear as he chased after his dad towards his dads work crew. Many looked tired having been woken at this early hour drinking, hot drinks and stuffing something into their mouths.

A few wives and children gathered around to say goodbye as other men of the village moved seemingly emptying as the healer barked orders at them in her deep voice.

" Alright listen up everyone." Yelled Dimar the former captain's voice showing. " We have no idea what happened, but ten munites ago the slags in orbit detected an unknown vessel approaching us at warp speed. Doesn't match any know vessle. We're still translating their language, but it looks like they've lost control and will be making an uncontrolled landing. There tracked to land high in the salvaging areas."

A few gorn muttered and shuddered at that. Healer had walked over and handed Sthilg an enormous rucksack which he recognized as her mobile medical kit. " I want everything back." She said in her normal manner as she wandered back to the hall which she was preparing for casualties.

Sthilg struggled to slip it on as his father was replying to some of the questions asked by his men. Mostly all he could do was shake his head, reply with we don't know and growl when one asked if they'd be paid for this.

" Now move it, lads." Dimar barked as the group of forty gorn began to move. It would be a long walk up the mountain. Looking up at the burning wreckage the young gorn gulped even as the weight from the pack pushed his head back down.

Today was going to be an interesting day. Despite the tiredness in his legs, he felt excited. He was finally going to meet some aliens.
