Kaden was walking down the corridor at a fast pace he needed to speak to a expert and Alicia was only person he could think of. He had seen her pass by moments ago and was already chasing after her bobbing and weaving past others. Finally catching up to her. "Free to talk?"

Alicia was enjoying her maternity leave but she was still seeing those who needed someone to talk to. “Sure” She smiled warmly. “I only have a few minutes though, my daughter gets very grumpy if I’m late feeding her.” She grinned.

"I see well I couldn't think of anyone else to talk to about some issues I am having. Since our last chat in sickbay call it odd but you was the only person I thought of." Kaden confessed.

“It’s not a problem Kaden, I’m not going to rush you off don’t worry about that.” She grinned. “How’s about we talk in my office?”

"Not sure it can wait," Kaden paused looking around. "I am concerned about my special lady."

“Oh?” Alicia paused at a quiet spot so they could settle and talk. “What is it that’s worrying you about her?”

"Marriage" Kaden said in a uncomfortable tone.

“Ohhh...I see” Alicia nodded. “I take it she’s hinting at wanting to get married, and you’re not so keen on the idea?”

"It isn't that I am not keen on it but more like...she just convinced me to let her tell everyone we are a couple. Now she wants marriage it is like she is rushing things and before you know it she wants kids. Maybe I just want to take things slow not be forced at gunpoint basically." Kaden shrugged his shoulders. "Look the guy she is supposed to marry is a huge jackass but why twist my arm like she is desperate? I won't let her marry the prick."

Alicia offered a smile. “Have you stopped to think that maybe she’s looking for some reassurance? That maybe she’s afraid of losing you? You did almost lose your life recently, in-fact you died.” She paused. “I know marriage is a big step, if you’re not ready then explain why not. Reassure her that she’s not going to lose you.”

Kaden lifted up his finger. "I didn't exactly 'die' Dr. Sthilg said was more like a death-like sleep I took." He sighed certainly feeling a bit annoyed. "Besides, Freya, don't need me to tell her she won't lose me she knows that. Plus she knows why I won't marry her...not now anyway."

“Perhaps so” Alicia nodded. “Do you really think she knows that she won’t loose you? Perhaps she’s afraid?”

Kaden raised an eyebrow unsure where the counselor was going with this or he must have lost her somewhere. "Are we still talking about my incident or something else?" He asked curiously.

“You were concerned about your special lady, I’m just adding some advise” Alicia smiled. “So how are you coping after recent events?”

"Got a bar to build again." Kaden didn't really want to talk about it instead he focused on Freya. "Scared of what me dying on her? Or something else?"

Alicia shrugged her shoulders. “Without actually meeting her, and talking to her I can’t really say for sure.”

Kaden had a couple of theories in mind but he wasn't exactly sure. "Maybe you should give her a visit look I am not an expert on women or Drax for that matter they got all sorts of rituals and things to count. But maybe she might be open to tell you me I am not exactly certain she lay it out on the line."

Alicia nodded. “Perhaps, but I’d rather she choose whether she wishes to talk to me. If she refuses I’m not going to force the matter.”

"I hope she does, but if she don't guess I will have to remind her again about not losing me." Kaden said in a rather seemingly annoyed tone feeling he was going to still be beating around the bush.

“You find the whole thing annoying?” Alicia looked at Kaden curiously.

"More like I feel like she holds me at gunpoint at times, Counselor." Kaden took a seat on a bench nearby. "I mean marriage? I am not sure I am husband material at times. What if I say yes then what? A kid? No I don't want to think about it I make a lousy father."

Alicia shook her head. “Don’t run yourself down Kaden, you maybe surprised. Anyway I will talk with Freya, would you like to be there when I do so you can express how you feel?”

Kaden rubbed his chin in thought. "I think it be prudent I be there yes maybe trying to sort out my concerns may help."

Alicia nodded. “Very well, in that case I’ll arrange a suitable time with both of you.”

"I appreciate it, Counselor." Kaden fell silent for a moment he had thought things were going to be better by now but he still felt lousy.

“No problem Kaden” She paused walking. “I’ll be in touch soon.”

"I look forward to it, hope you know what you are doing," Kaden replied a bit nervously.

“You don’t get to be Chief counselor without knowing what your doing Kaden.” Alicia grinned. “Don’t worry, we’ll get you both sorted out.”

"Thanks, Counselor." Kaden then hugged her he don't know why he just felt the need to hug.

Alicia grinned. “It’s my pleasure. Don’t worry I won’t keep you waiting long.”

Saying nothing Kaden nodded before turning to leave.
