The three foot long slightly curved tipped blade sliced through the air, cleanly and effortlessly decapitating the romulan attacker. Dressed in a skin tight full body black suit and donning her alternate black Watraii mask, T'las smiled behind her mask at seeing the Romulan fall dead. She enjoyed this holodeck that the Federation had. Training among her people were done against a live opponent as they didn't use holographic technology.
However, this holodeck technology was a far cry better than against a live opponent as the risk of death was negated without training suffering. Around her was an open sandy ground with waves crashing on the beach fifty feet to her right while a deep forest was to her left about twenty feet away. The blood from her recent kill ran down the blade, dripping onto the sand.
"Computer, initiate two more romulan combatants. Qowat Milat trained," she commanded as two Romulans with longer hair than the typical romulan appeared, bothe dressed in identical purple Qowat Milat Robes and holding swords of their own. "Good," she purred, raising her sword into a high guard as the two approached and attacked.
Shifting her footing, she narrowly dodged one attack as she parried the second attack, knocking the blow aside as she slammed her shoulder into the attacker. Turning her blade, she swung upwards under his guard, slicing through the Romulan's arms as green blood gushed out before the hologram disappeared. As she turned to the other attacker, she rolled to the side as her vision caught the glimpse of a blade swinging towards her.
Rolling onto her feet, the romulan pressed his attack as she parried the attack, back peddling as she did so. The next attack, the dodged to the side as she brought the blade up and into the center of his chest before the attacking romulan disappeared. Breathing heavily, T'las smiled once again under her mask. Turning towards the gently crashing waves, a gentle breeze blew off the water, offering a cool respite from the heat.
The technology of the Federation was most impressive, yet to her people it was wasted on comforts. A part of her even missed the smell of oil in the air when aboard one of their ships. Here, there was nothing--it even felt out of place. As if something was wrong with the ship. However, such wonders such as this holodeck was something her people could use if they knew the true value of it. Perhaps one day that would change. The sooner the better.
As the holographic blood disappeared from her blade, she sheathed it at her waist. Taking a sigh, as she gazed at the inviting water. "Computer, lock the holodeck doors."
The computer chirrped it's reply as she lifted her mask, placing it face up on the sand. She then removed her sword and scabbard, placing it next to her mask. The cool breeze felt amazing on her face as she pulled the skin tight suit off, leaving her nude as she stepped into the cool, refreshing water. Her entire life was devoted to discipline and her study of nanobiology, having left little for self-pleasures. This was one as she began to swim out into the water.
