Random Rare Day Off

As it was one of her rare days off and not having anything to do or planned, Olivia was taking it easy for the most part. Most days when she didn’t have a duty shift, Olivia was always seemed to have a list of things to get done that needed to be done, but for a change she wasn’t working on anything specific. She had slept in a little later than normal for a change since there was nothing specifically planned for this particular day off.

Heading out of her quarters, Olivia decided to head towards the Arboretum to walk around for awhile since it had been awhile since she had visited. On one of her last visits was when she was there with a certain little blueberry and they visited the duckies for awhile. Olivia smiled a little at the memory. She missed the little one and hoped to see her again at some point and get to do a bit of catching up with her and her mother. Reaching the deck for the Arboretum, Olivia walked the short distance and walked inside. Taking in a deep breath as she walked slowly into the Arboretum, Olivia took her time to enjoy the flowers along the pathway. She approached the small pond where she had spotted some of the ducks and watched them for a moment before finding a spot and sitting down for a little while to watch them a bit longer. She knew that if Taylas was here she would be having fun watching the ducks and trying to catch one of them possibly and play with it for a bit. After awhile, Olivia got up from her spot on the ground and started back to walking around for a little more through the flowers and enjoying the different colors and varieties of flowers and trees growing throughout the Arboretum.

After awhile, Olivia left the Arboretum and made her way towards some of the shops to just wander around for awhile. For the most part, Olivia did a bit of window shopping and occasionally going into a shop and looking around before moving on to another shop. In a few of the shops that Olivia visited, she spotted several duck items that Taylas would have a field day with had she been here to see them, but she wasn't here right then to enjoy them. It made her sad that she wasn't able to be here to enjoy the duckie items now with her. Olivia hoped that one day she along with everyone else still here on the Elysium would one day get to see the little blueberry again.

After spending a bit of time in the shops, Olivia headed towards one of the crew lounges to get something to eat and hopefully socialize a bit. She wasn't in the mood to fix something in her quarters and still wanted a change of pace to a point as well. Some days the crew lounges would be a bit busier at times than others. It would just depend on the time of day as to how busy they ended up being.
