Hello my name is Lia Taylor nee Holmes, you may know me as the Chief Security/Tactical Officer of this simulation. And yes I know it is a simulation to you all, but to me it is my life. My writer and creator has fashioned me and given me an existence of a sort, but over time I have become aware of you all. Am I concerned? No I don't think so, but I would like you to know that I'm happy to meet and interact with you. This is strange for you all, a character suddenly talking to you. How is this possible? Well simply put, I asked my writer and she agreed to allow me this time to speak with you all.

My life, such as it is, began nearly five years ago. I appeared on this ship called Elysium, and met a man I didn't know and certainly didn't like. I upset the "Captain" and made a complete fool of myself. Both my writer and I didn't know each other that well, so many mistakes happened and I thought I would die of embarrassment. Somehow we got through season one, I still hated this man called Gary but I had made one or two friends in this world anyway. But as time moved on those friends left, one died in real life the other simply vanished. I was sad and wanted them back, but just as in your world things don't happen that way.

Other characters appeared some kind and nice, other not so much. One which I could describe as simply nuts, but no doubt those who have read or followed this simulation over time can work out which characters I'm talking about. My love to hate relationship with Gary continued, and many crossed words both real and in simulation followed. I even fell out with our "Captain", a shock to be sure. Then I had real life trouble, my writer couldn't log on to the simulation. After a few weeks she left and I entered limbo, a lonely and frightful place for any character. But some hard work by my writer resulted in her return, I wasn't the Second Officer any more but my old job had become available again so I resumed my duties. Then my friend with whom I had a special relationship with simply vanished, but my other relationship with Gary had began to change.

I won't bore you with a blow by blow account, but here in the simulation I got married to Gary. Talk about way out weird right? I had also by this time gained a history, something for which I am happy about. Some of it isn't nice to read about, but some of it has happiness and fun in there somewhere. I have sadness and tears, but I also have light and joy. You can read all about it in my bio, just go and read my past mission posts. I have enjoyed my time here, and I sometimes wish I could visit your world as easily as you visit mine. But I know that will never be possible, not without my creator and writer. So this little talk is the closest I will ever get to to that dream, now you all know that Lia is aware of you all. I hope you continue to visit and enjoy your time in my world, and of course the part of this world that you created with your character. And as the Vulcans say, "Live long and prosper." Thank you for listening, until we meet again
