Mission:
MISSION 0 - History Speaks
Location: Envoy Quarters, Special Evironmental Consideration suite.
535 words - 1.1 OF Standard Post Measure
Reo’thanra shivered with visible Discomfort, the air leaving his muzzle making great swaths of steam, his tail hugging tightly to his left leg. His Armored uniforms heating coils were pressed to the limit as he stared up at Gen’tetra with an impassive glare. “You’re out of line Warrant officer,” he said firmly. “Your first Actions on this ship put our mission in jeopardy, all because you were to impatient to go through proper security check ins,” he Added in a low hushed growl his voice chattering as the chill ran through him. Part of him silently Cursed The ACDF command structure for sending a Cordian as his adjutant for this mission. “From now on if you want to Pull a stunt like that again, Clear it with me First!” he all but snarled, the thick Artian words flowing as he tried to keep this discussion from being understood by any federation staff who might be listening in.
Gen glared at him for a moment, her posture rigid, and noticeably more comfortable in the frigid Temperatures of her quarters then the shorter male. “I understand.” She said tersely, her gaze narrowing with disdain. “I’ll Be sure to Ask permission before I follow our Fleets regulations.” She added with a dismissive flick of her ears and tail.
Reo’s gaze narrowed to a Harsh glare. “You’ll follow Star Fleet Regulations, With the only exception being ACDF’s Polices on State Secrets.” He snapped, his fangs barring over his lips as he leaned toward her, Trying for all his worth to appear more intimidating than his small frame would allow. “If you Jeopardize the mission again by brining to much attention to yourself I’ll make sure you spend the rest of your career Tending crops on Some Belt Mining Rig On the fringes of the system.” He added disdainfully as he folded his arms over his chest as another shiver ran up his spine, the Heating coils in his uniform giving a protesting whine.
“Sounds like you need to Leave my Quarters, sir,” Gen said with a coy smirk an and heavily sarcastic tone that dripped off her voice like acid. “I’ll Follow the rules from now on…as long as you don’t try and make me go Native with these…Humans,” she added firmly earning a sneer from Reo as he turned to leave.
“These Humans Have no interest in Us going Native,” he said with a dismissive flick of his tail. “Besides…you’d kill them with how Icy you keep your quarters,” he added with a glance over his shoulder before the Climate control system of his armor beeped letting him know it was over taxing itself. “Get some rest, and report to Lieutenant McKay at 08:00 for the start of your duties, and Don’t you dare make me come back in here to sort your attitude back out.” He said as he stepped towards the door and slapped the control.
“If I do, I’ll be sure to involve your superiors as well,” Gen countered as he walked out, sighing with relief as the door slid shut, living her blissfully alone in her surprisingly spacious quarters.
