“So where do we go from here,” Napoleon asked. “Do you stay here when you like or what. For me, I am going to take a sonic shower and you are welcome to join me. “Never had someone who could manage to stay snuggle all night long,” Napoleon said as he kissed her cheek gently. “So are you going to take me up on my offer and move into my quarters. I am sure it will be a lot better than the lower decks accommodations.”

Ensign Sr’au roused from her sleep. “Mmmph!” Then she felt his arm around her. She felt so secure in his arms. Mrera hadn’t felt this safe before, even in her father’s home. Sleepily she said, “Yess,” followed by a purr. As she woke more, she couldn’t believe she said that word so quickly. They still had much to learn about each other.

“I have lots of room in the closet for clothes and I am not using all my drawers,” Napoleon replied.

“Lasst night was purrfect, Nappy! The besst I ever had,” she nervously admitted. “We are compatible in sseveral thingss. What better way to find out it we are compatible all around?”

“Just let me know if you are ever not happy,” Napoleon said loving the feel of her moving around now. “If I ever make you feel you are here just to satisfy my needs, let me know. I want your needs to be satisfied as well.”

“My needs?” Mrera vocally voiced, not thinking about what she needed. She wanted Nap more the more she got to know him. She hadn’t thought about staying, although last night felt so right to her. Safety. Security. She felt she could trust Napoleon. “Are you ssertain I will not be in the way?” she probed, turning to face him with he green diamond shaped eyes.

“Yes,” he said with his sweet gentle eyes. “Your needs and you are not going to be in the way. We will talk about everything later as in where are we going from here. So let us not get ahead of ourselves. We will take it one day at a time.”

To find stability at the academy, Sr’au threw herself into her studies and climbing when not studying. She did miss the connection with others. It was good that someone wished to know her for who she was.

The two of them both got ready for the day. He had to report to Engineering while she had to report to the bridge.

“Later my dear,” Napoleon said with a good bye kiss.

Mrera returned the kiss and grinned as Napoleon exited. She slowly touched her lips, still warm from the touch of his. A purr escaped from her as she stood and nearly skipped out of his quarters.
