Due to O’Keefe’s security training, he realized grabbing her hand and pulling her back around to face him could retraumatize her. He couldn’t imagine the strength it would take for someone to break the bones of a Klingon, who had dense bones. Sean manipulated around a chair to get back face-to-face with her.
“Etrara, ye ‘ave wort’!” he insisted. “Ye are nae more soiled than I be, Lass. Toge’her, we Can figur it ou’.”

The Continuation
“I would like that Sean” she whispered as she turned towards him, “we are both hurting, seeking comfort.” She bent down and kissed him softly on his cheek drawing her mouth softly to his ear.
O’Keefe couldn’t believe someone with Klingon blood could be so tender. Her touch sent cold chill down his spine, but warmth to his soul. Sean’s hands lifted to hold Etrara’s sides. His lips brushed against her cheek s he turned his lips to meet hers.
Etrara’s lips met his as she grazed them gently with her teeth. She did not have the usual longer sharp teeth that Klingons had so her mouth, soft met his as her hands ran down his back pulling him closer to her. She had a moment of panic at the thought of what she was doing. Was she wrong about him? She knew he could not force her if she did not want to. Years of training, honing and strengthening her body and mind had taken care of that. No man would ever do that to her again. She felt him begin to harden beneath her.
Sean was breathless in the moment, yet his breathing turned shallow. He knew, if things were to calm progress, Etrara would need to choose so. If he were to force it, the experience would turn against them. Etrara would be hurt, and that would bring the Chief heartache.
He slid his arms around Etrara’s waist, feeling her fitness. He nibbled her neck and whispered, “Etrara…woul’ ye stay wit me tonigh’?”
She smiled inwardly, she wasn’t going to make it too easy for him. “You mean on the couch?” She asked softly.
Couch?, Liam thought as he stepped back to look her in those deep dark eyes to determine if she were serious. Seeing what he thought was playfulness in them, Liam chuckled. He pulled Etrara to himself resting his forehead upon the ridges of hers.
“Nae,” he whispered. “I wanna love ye the way ye deserve.”
“She moulded her body to his. “Are you sure you don’t just feel sorry for me and are drunk?” She asked knowing that she was prevaricating. She desperately wanted to make a connection with another after all those years of celibacy. Her hands trailed down his back to caress his buttocks and pressed him to her.
Although he liked her hands on arse, Sean broke Etrara’s hold. Backing toward his bedroom with a teasing grin, Sean lifted his shirt over his head and threw it at her. His stretched shorts made evident he was aroused.
“I “ave ne’er wan’ed anyone more,” Sean truthfully said. “Yer one fine woman and I ain’ banjaxed.”
Etrara had no idea what ‘Banjaxed’ meant. She was going to ask him but she was hot, very hot. Her blood seemed to burn inside her. She followed him catching the shirt he had just taken off. His chest and abs were firm as was his stomach. She smiled and began to undo the leather fletching that bound her breasts tightly into her costume. The leather cracked as finally her corseted breasts came free her nipples hard with desire.
She was perfect. Sean embraced Etrara in his arms and deeply kissed her. While doing so, his left hand slipped down, grasping her arse. It was firm. She was fit; there was strength behind her physical features. When the kiss had finished, Sean stepped back and sat upon the end of his bed, taking it slow, letting her know he wasn’t being forceful, his eyes encouraging her. It many ways, this made her allure greater.
He couldn’t believe his luck. What were the chances of him meeting one this sexy, who also understood him. She understood him because in many ways, she was like him.
She unbuckled her split leather skirt and it fell to the floor, Klingon women did not bother with underwear so she was now naked. She shivered as the coolness of his quarters hit her body and stood looking at him, knowing her body was firm and toned but her mind not so much. She went towards him as he sat on the bed. “Show me?” She whispered her voice full of lust along with something else.
The sound of her voice aroused him more. Fully erect, Sean slid his shorts off of himself. Gently taking Etrara’s hand he brought her to his bed. He had her lay back. Instead of taking her right there, he continued with foreplay.
With the index finger of his left hand, Sean traced the ridge line of her forehead, then down the bridge of her nose. The finger paused on her lips and O’Keefe leaned in to give them a sensual kiss.
The finger replaced his lips and continued to trace down her chin, to her neck, down one breast. The finger them circled the stiffened nipple as Sean leaned in and kissed the other, his tongue circling that nipple.
The finger then continued to trace her taught body ever downward to her navel. Sean then leaned and passionately kissed her navel. The finger continued downward below Etrara’s waist to between her legs. He felt her dampness and teased her with his finger. Sean then leaned over and kissed between her legs, his tongue caressing her.
She took a deep breath in and raised her hips her hand behind his head pressing him into her as she opened her legs. She moaned loudly as she caressed her breasts playing with her nipples. “I want you in my mouth” she moaned.
Obliging her request, Sean maneuvered his body around, hovering above Etrara. His hands wrapped about the back of her thighs. His lips and tongue continuing to tease her.
She moaned loudly and sucked his length into her mouth. He felt warm and large as she sucked and licked around his shaft. For a moment she was back on that blanket being forced and went rigid.
The warm moisture of Etrara’s mouth brought a moan from Sean. He stiffened more within it.
Feeling Etrara’s body tighten, Sean paused. “Woul’ ye feel bet’er up top?”
It was happening again in Etrara’s mind. She pushed him up and away onto the bed and leapt forward. The stars were bright and the sounds of the incoming tide loud. She reached for her weapon.
Sean realized that Etrara was in survival mode because of her past trauma. If he managed this the wrong way, he’d likely end up with some broken bones, or worse yet dead. She was only half Klingon, but still very powerful. Plus, Sean refused to strike a woman.
Although he had to remain in the thinking regions of his own brain and not panic, he couldn’t use logic right now with Etrara. She was functioning from a different section of her brain. She wouldn’t be receptive of reason. He had to reach her where she was currently at. Sean had to remain calm and use his security training to deescalate her.
As he took a deep breath, he said to himself, Sean! Ye are an eejit! You pushed ‘er too ‘ard! Stay calm! You ‘ave been in tense problems afore!
“Etrara. I’m sorry ye be feelin’ the way ye do,” he began, as he stood relaxed, but ready to move. His hands were down and open to appear non-threatening, just in front of his now unaroused parts. “I’m also sorry I pushed ye too ‘ard. Ye don’ hafta do this. We can take it slow, git ta know one ano’her. Not ‘til ye are ready.”
She crouched down and retrieved her dak’tag “I will kill you before you touch me again p’tach.” The sound of the wind in the trees and the ocean was all she could hear along with her ragged breathing. She slowly walked towards her attacker.
“Heghlu'meH QaQ jajvam!” she whispered.
Now Sean didn’t know Klingon, but he had been around them and knew those words. The battle cry of all battle cries. “Nae…Nae… it isn’ a good day ta die. We be both naked.”
Sean prepared himself for an attack, hoping Etrara would come to her senses. “Please…Lieutenant Khalten…Etrara. I’m no’ tryin’ ta ‘urt ye!”
Something happened when she heard him call her Lieutenant Khalten. The sea and the sound of the trees faded away to reveal the unfamiliar room around her. She dropped her dagger in horror and tried to cover her nakedness with her leather. “Sean, I am so sorry, I thought….I mean I was enjoying myself, being with you and then…” she began to cry….”This is never going to go away is it?” She asked more to herself. “Did I hurt you?” She whispered.
As soon Etrara dropped the knife, Sean piled the sheet from his bed and draped it about her. “Nae,” he answered, developing a strong dislike for the person that did this to her. “An’ ye nee’ not apologize. It’s no’ yer fault. It’s the bollox wha’ di’ this ta ye!”
His was angry, but kept a concerned look upon his face. He was concerned for Etrara and wanted her to know it. But whoever did this to her would be lucky if O’Keefe never found out who he was. He sat on the edge of his bed and began reaching for his shorts.
“I shoul’ be apologizing ta ye,” Sean confessed. “I pushed ye an ye weren’ rea’y fer it takes ‘appen. I know I’d like ga ‘ave a relationship wit ye, but le’s take it slow. When yer rea’y ta express tha’ in a physical way, ye’ll know.”
She wrapped herself up in his sheet and sat next to him on the bed. “I thought I was ready, I wanted to be and I am very physically attracted to you.I don’t think I will ever be ready, he always comes back to me.” She said sadly. “I seem to be only able to have relationships with women.” She stood. “I will get dressed and leave.”
Sean heard and felt Etrara’s pain. He knew she needed support, comfort, and security. He felt that way at times. Earlier this evening, it was he seeking someone with whom to talk. He knew it was fate that brought Etrara to him. They both knew the pain each was suffering. Sean believed that together they would thrive instead of just survive.
“Etrara?” Sean quietly asked. “Woul’ it be okay if I jes’ ‘eld ye?”
She smiled at him through her tears. Klingons never cried for long but humans did. “Would it be an awful imposture for me to stay the night with you?” She said.
