Now in the Science lab, Lia sat working with the computer. "Computer, what variables come into play if Amatol is used to eliminate the weapon at the reported co-ordinates?" She paced the floor as she waited, =^="The main variable would be the elimination of hostile forces response to being able to offer any meaningful resistance to landing party"=^= the computer replied. That didn't help much, "Could the Amatol explosive be replicated onboard and beamed into place from this vessel?" Again Lia paced, =^="Permission of Chief of Security would be required to replicate Amatol explosive, but shielding at location of the weapon makes beaming impossible at this time"=^= the computer stated. *Do I give myself that permission?* she thought. "Computer, Security Chief Lia Holmes, permission granted to replicate two pounds of Amatol explosive. Place said explosive in a sealed container with a three minuet timing device attached".

As she waited for the explosives, she attempted to work out how she would get them to where they were needed. "Computer, how close to the weapon can personnel be safely beamed in?" She had decided if anyone was going to place the bomb, it was going to be her. =^="Safe distance from device and enemy forces for beaming purposes, three hundred yards to the west of the weapon"=^= was her answer. *Ok I have the bomb, I have a beam in point. Can I get there undetected?* she pondered. Picking up her bomb she glanced around the lab, "Computer, beam me to the location west of the weapon. Engage".
