Victor and his crew had been working on this for a few days. “We need a miracle.”

Six marines walked in with a power source that was in a shuttle in the hangar bay. From that, the engineers started jump starting the small equipment first as each device slowly brought life to a new one.

“Victor,” Bordeaux asked, “This is a start. Thank God for the Marines.”

One of the Marines was observing as he asked, “It was blind luck we found it but how long will it take.”

“It should be up in a few hours to maybe twenty hours,” Victor said predicting.

“We need to get Communications up,”Napoleon interjected.

“Indeed,” Victor replied, “But we need life support more power or else. Then we can get the communications up.”

“Life support is almost at the point where we can work on the other systems,” Tonya said, “This reminds me how we had to charge up one of my grandfather’s tractors back on New California.”

Lorelei eyebrow went up. “I thought you were from the State of California.”

“No,” Tonya answered, “We are from the planet New California. My father at one time was the Governor there. Now he is in the diplomatic corps. He almost had a diplomatic post on Sherman’s Planet but he was persuaded to help in the corps. Louis, you have communications now can happen.”

Napoleon started feeling the power slowly coming up for communications.

Victor received a faint call from the marines in the shuttle bay. “Louis, we need more power.”

Lorelei shifted to the teleport or along with eight other engineers now working fast as they could.

Tarr Zell carefully brought up power. “Lieutenant, we could blow a fuse.”

Victor turned to Tarr saying, “I have confidence in you.”

Tonya threw up where she was at. “Oh sorry. That is the second time I did that today. It must be the stress.”

Victor had a hunch as he noticed Tonya had put on some weight. He did not want to suggest she was pregnant. “Tonya, go work on the replicators now.”

She nodded.

“Victor,” Lorelei said, “We can teleport but a little a time.”

Victor replied to the Marines in the shuttle bay, “We can teleport.”

Napoleon smiled. “Communications is up now.”

Victor pressed his communication badge. “We have communications.”

One of the Petty Officers asked, “I thought it would take awhile.”

“Usually it does but we only have essential systems online and we still have many to work on,” Victor answered.

Tonya had to sit for a moment. “I need to sit Victor.”

“Ensigns Brax and Smith, take over for Tonya,” Victor ordered.

Ensign J. J. Smith replied, “Yes Sir.”

Napoleon observing the communication console says, “We are up but we need more power.”

“I am giving it all I got,” Tarr Zell said with a grunt.

Few more lights were coming on slowly as it look like a domino effect started happening.

“Hope it stands,” Tarr said with a deep breath, “And we do not get hit with another anomaly.”
