Leaving behind marine medical was a tough decision but with his work there completed and the situation mostly under control, it was time for him to go elsewhere with his services and make his way to the main sick bay. He knew that's where most people would head and he also knew between them both people would be stuck and need medical care. Thinking of marine medical he hoped George would be ok and he knew he'd be given the care he needed with Emily who was a far more than capable medical professional she'd done a good job and Elijah was already drafting his commendation.

The ship itself was in need of some TLC, there was little left not showing signs of structural stress or damage, and the flickering lights and glowing red hue made navigation difficult besides the odd deck identification sign Elijah was working of instinct to make his way to his final destination before most likely making his way off the ship, he only hoped the ship lasted that long. What he could make out was the diversion he had taken was bringing him through a large damaged portion of crew quarters, the corridor was to obstructed but fortunately for him several bulkheads had been blown through before the emergency forcefields came into place meaning he was able to hurdle between quarters.

He tried not to be intrusive but he couldn't help but pick up items that seemed to be of value, pictures and books that were buried surface deep covered in dust and debris that their previous owners hadn't been able to grab in the panic, he tried not to think of the worst case scenario. He hoped he could return some of these items to their owners if not all of them. Stumbling he steadied himself on what seemed to used to be a part of a sonic shower, luckily the plexiglass hadn't shattered and he was able to avoid cutting himself on it.

An object caught his attention, it seemed to be a cut of transparent glass with something inside of it. Kneeling down the ship rocked again but in his kneeling state, it did little to topple him. "What's this?" he said to himself lifting off some debris and dusting the object. It was heavy and inside he could clearly make out an old communicator. "Someone will most definitely be missing you old timer," He said, in one corner the glass had been chipped but not beyond repair, a light polish would buff out the scratches. Tucking the ornament into his bag he also picked up a few other items before moving off.

Elijah continued to move through the ship, fortunately, he hadn't come across anybody either dead or alive and hoped that meant rescue teams had been able to get to most of the ship ready for evacuation, rumours of a planet nearby and ditching the ship had started to come in from people as they found marine medical but he had not heard anything official.

He knew he was nearing his final destination because the corridors were slowly filling up with gurneys and stretchers with personnel on them and doctors humming around them, a lot of the work looked as though they were readying for a mass move which made sense. He stopped sporadically to ask questions and check on patients but as he expected the doctors here were in numbers and the power was being routed to the main medical meaning they had plenty fo supplies.

Elijah finally entered through the busy and wedged-open doors of the main sickbay and placing his bag on the floor he set himself to work.
