Back when Francine was in high school, she was called Frankie because her father called her that for some strange reason. Some say it was because he wanted a son and some say because his father’s name was Francis and everyone called him Frankie. Whatever the reason was, she liked it.

But now she was going to have to make a serious decision, does she follow in her mother’s ballet shoes or will she please her father where he had trained her to be an Engineer.

High School graduation a month away. It was career day and Rosalind Carter High School for Girls was having career day The two speakers she wanted to listen to was Inventor Javier Akule and his wife Rebecca Akule was a ballerina, bounty hunter and relief worker. They had their oldest son there named Chris Akule and his wife Cera Akule where Chris was a Starfleet Engineer and his wife Cera worked for the Diplomatic Corps.

The speakers came to this private school because the average IQ was around 182 were the one with the lowest was at 162 which was the equivalent of the one Albert Einstein had.

Francine was talking to Rebecca Akule when Captain Mira King walked up. Rebecca asked them both. “Mams,” she asked with her Southern accent , “Can one have more than one career?”

Mira fielded the question first, “Like it says in the Bible, one cannot serve two masters.”

“True if one is Starfleet,” Rebecca said, “But one outside of Starfleet can . I am a bunrty hunter, ballerina , relief worker, wife and mother and soon grandmother. You just have to prioritize your schedule.”

“What do you want to be?” Mira asked.

“I want to be a member of Starfleet, an engineer or science officer and I want to dance,” Francine said as she smiled at the end.

“I was in Starfleet ,” Rebecca replied “But it was not for me. I can recommend a summer camp for you to help you make up your decision. The relief foundation offers scholarships for it. Would you like for me to recommend you?”

“Could you please,” Francine asked.

“Consider it done,” Rebecca replied with a quick wink. “You know ballerina and dance did help me learn how to be quick on my feet. I was fortunate to have two big brothers to teach me out to fight. Maybe one day you will be fortunate to find someone to help you learn martial arts.

Fracine shrugged her shoulders. “My siblings are all nerds. No luck there.”

They talked for another thirty minutes while others came into the conversation including Javier Akule, his son Chris Akule and daughter-in-law Cera.

After the speakers all spoke, Francine felt her future was all planned out. She would have an unfortunate incident at summer camp but she managed it. Francine went to Starfleet Academy where she excelled in Engineering and she did have dance recitals.

So as she looked back, she realized she could have it all.
