Andrinn had just come onto duty for the day and was watching the buzz of the Diplomatic Corps all around him. He was standing in the doorway of his office as he watched out onto the part of Deck Two where the rest of the Diplomats worked and couldn't help but get a little lost in his own thoughts.

Andrinn and the rest of the crew had gone to the funeral of Commander Taylor last night. A lot of stuff had happened since the crew was flung to this part of the universe and had made it where Andrinn thought about life quite a bit lately. Andrinn had always looked like a young man, but in truth, he was well over 300 years old by this point. There were days that he could feel it, but mostly, it was a mental thing for Andrinn. He had made friends and taken on relationships over his lifetime, but most of them didn't have the lifespan that Andrinn had.

So, Andrinn had lost more people in his life than he cared to admit and going to the funeral for Commander Taylor just reminded him how fragile life truly was. Andrinn had been thinking a lot about going back to see a counselor lately and it was about high time that he made the appointment finally.

As Andrinn watched as everything was happening around him, he thought about what he would say when he made the appointment. "Sorry about not coming to see you sooner counselor. But, I just wasn't feeling it." Yeah, Andrinn knew that wasn't an excuse, but it was something that Andrinn felt in a way. He had been through enough counselors in his time that he felt like he could be a counselor himself.

Andrinn just shook his head and headed back into his office, allowing for the door to shut behind him. Sitting down at his desk, Andrinn pressed a button on his computer terminal to turn it back on. Putting in a few commands, Andrinn looked to see who would be available for a counseling session over the next few days and weeks. It looked like Alicia and Tate both had some appointments open for the next week, so Andrinn had put in a request in to see if either one was willing to take him on.

Once the request was sent off, Andrinn put the terminal back to sleep as he heard the chime to his office ring. He said 'enter' and one of the Diplomatic Aides came into Andrinn's office carrying a few PADDs. Andrinn knew that it was probably some more information that he had requested from the A'jaine. Andrinn asked the aide, "Is this the information that I requested from the A'jaine?"

"Yes, sir. It looks like they sent over some scientific and religious texts. The tags say something about you wanting to update what we had on file, sir," the aide replied. Andrinn took the PADDs and said, "Thank you. Is there anything else?" The aide simply nodded in the negative and headed out of Andrinn's office.

Andrinn put the PADDs onto his desk and followed back out and starred back into the Diplomatic section of Deck Two. "I can't wait for that counseling session," Andrinn replied with a small chuckle before getting back to work.
