Andrinn headed straight to his office after the meeting with the Senior Staff. Andrinn still hadn't gotten out of his wet uniform, but knew that the replicator in his office could spit up a clean one for him in a snap. Once inside of his office, Andrinn told the computer to lock the door to his office until he requested it unlocked. Andrinn didn't want anyone to just walk into his office and see him changing.

Walking over to the replicator, Andrinn said, "Computer, can you get me a new uniform for me? One that's dry?" The computer quickly replied to his request and gave him a new uniform. Well, most of the new uniform. The only thing that was missing was the combadge, which Andrinn thought was a little odd, but with everything else going on in the ship, it didn't surprise him all that much.

Once the uniform was out, Andrinn quickly swapped out his wet uniform for the dry one and kept the combadge for the new one. He recycled the old one before heading over to his desk to see if he couldn't get ahold of the A'jaine to ask them if there was anything going on with them or if they knew of anyone or anything that could be causing some of these malfunctions with the computer.

Sitting down in his chair, Andrinn told the computer to release the lockout on the door. After asking for the command to be executed, the computer let out this high pitch squeal before letting the locks off of the door. It was something similar to what would happen if a sonic shower would malfunction. While it didn't last long, it was something that Andrinn knew to add to his list of occurrences that have happened over the last few days.

Shaking his head, Andrinn returned his attention back to the computer terminal in front of him. Tapping it to wake it, Andrinn said, "Computer, open an official diplomatic subspace link with the A'jaine. I'd like to talk to one of their people about some issues that the Elysium is having."

The computer came to life and showed the symbol of Starfleet and the Federation as it said to stand by. This was typical when you were waiting for someone to answer. However, after a few seconds, the screen glitched and sounded like someone laughed before the screen went black. Andrinn looked at the screen and tried tapping it to see if it was just the computer going to standby mode.

However, it wasn't just the computer terminal going back to standby mode. The terminal didn't even want to wake back up and Andrinn tried using voice commands by saying, "Computer, what happened to my link with the A'jaine? Are we experiencing a malfunction with the comms network?"

The laugh that Andrinn heard earlier just came back for a brief moment before replying in the computer's voice. The computer replied, "No, the comms are functioning within normal range."

Andrinn just sat there stumped for a moment before getting up from his seat and walking over to the nearest wall panel to take it off and see if there was something wrong with the connection between his office and the rest of the Elysium. Lord only knew that there could have been any number of things going on, with everything that was going on. Plus, Andrinn didn't want to disturb Operations or Engineering with something that he could possibly fix with his limited knowledge of both fields.

Looking over the panel in front of him, Andrinn couldn't see anything wrong with any of it. Since the ship had an AI, the ship was way more advanced than most modern other Starfleet vessels and bases. Bio-neural gelpacks were becoming more of the norm, even at the turn of the 25th century, as they were much faster at processing information and could cut down on having to find the stuff for the old chips that were used beforehand.

It just stumped Andrinn as he looked more and more into the panel, as there was nothing cut or disrupting the connection between Diplomatic and the rest of the ship. Shrugging his shoulders, Andrinn replaced the panel back onto the wall and walked back over to his desk to realize that the computer terminal was back on and still waiting for the A'jaine to answer from their side.

It didn't take long for someone from the A'jaine space station to answer. He said that his name was Brother Bromar and he was one of the people who had been assigned to help with the new Alpha Quadrant ship as he put it.

Andrinn looked at the image of Bromar and asked, "I've called today because we're having some issues with our ship. I wanted to reach out to see if you've had any issues before in this region of space with the ship almost getting a mind of its own? Or any species with powers beyond what you might expect that might be seen as magical?"

Bromar had to think about it for a second and replied, "Nothing off the top of my head. At least, nothing documented with concrete evidence. But, there have been whispers from other passerbys from other regions of space that have said they've had similar issues. We notated each insident as we got them and can pass that along to your starship, if you'd like."

Andrinn beamed from ear to ear as he replied, "That would be awesome! Anything would be better than nothing and we could maybe start to connect some dots. Is there anything that you would like in exchange for this information?"

Bromar scratched one of his tattoos of his faith for a moment before replying, "If you somehow connect this information to something or someone, would you mind sharing that information with us? We'd like to add the information to our databases for anyone new to this region."

"I'll make sure to do that, Brother Bromar. The lords only know what it might be and I'm sure that all of us would like to get to the bottom of it," Andrinn said with a bit of a belly laugh, as Bromar seemed just as curious as the Elysium crew was about figuring this all out."

"Okay, we'll get all the compiled information and send it over in the next few hours. Until then, may peace be upon you and your crew," Bromar said as he nodded his head slightly and closed the link.

Andrinn simply sat back in his chair as he stared at the blank screen for a moment. After a few seconds, he quickly realized that his combadge was still sitting on the table in front of him. He reached for it and put it back on before starting on a few reports...or at least trying to.
