Mission: Season 6: Echoes of the Zynari
Location: Hugo's Cafe, Promenade; USS Elysium
Timeline: MD 5 1930 Hours

Addison let out a nervous sigh as she stepped through the doors of Hugo's Cafe in a Starfleet flight jacket, grey v-neck t-shirt, tan casual pants with ankle high brown boots carrying a black guitar case. The place was busy. It was a café that catered to casual foods. Many people came here to relax on the outdoor patio where there was also a small stage yet she had rarely seen anyone use it. The place was currently busy with people of various species sitting and enjoying meals, playing billiards or darts.

She was here to hopefully change that as she spotted the owner. Hugo, a middle aged human male on the shorter side of height approach her. "You must be Addison?"

Addison nodded and smiled. "That's me."

"So, you think you can draw a crowd?" Hugo asked, crossing his arms.

"I'll give it my best shot. I can start with something to getbtheir attention and if they liked me enough, I can take requests...as long as I know the song, of course,' Addison stated. She had never done anything like this before but the people on the ship needed some morale boost and some live music on the Promenade couldn't hurt, could it?

Hugo nodded after a moment. "Alright. Go get ready and I'll introduce you."

"Will do." Addison made her way to the stage where a sound system with speakers had already been set up. She took her guitar out and linked it to the system and fine tuned the instrument. She removed her flight jacket, placing it on the back of a chair on the stage as she attached a small microphone to her t-shirt. She finally nodded at Hugo that she was ready.

Hugo made his way onto the stage, stopping towards the front ofbthebstage to Addison's left, raising his arms. "Everyone, may I have your attention!" his voice carried over the patrons. "I would like to I introduce a guest of ours. Captain Addison Leyton! She's here to play a few tunes for us so let's give her a round of applause to welcome her to Hugo's!"

The patrons applause politely as their attention turned to Addison as Hugo stepped off of the stage.

Addison finished securing her guitar strap around her shoulder as she smiled in response. "Thank you, Hugo. I hope you all enjoy yourselves. Here'sa classic." She strummed the guitar as she closed her eyes. She soon strummed harder into a rock theme.

As Addison played on, some of the crowd began to dance, drawing in passersby.

A couple minutes later, Addison finished the song to a roaring applause as she smiled and bowed slightly, getting a big smile and thumbs up from Hugo. She needed this as much as everyone else had.
