Fernando sat in his quarters string vacantly at the aquarium mounted on the wall. The one he and Mona had gotten. She had gotten
the fish and he had rigged up the lighting. Now Mona was gone. She had been transferred, So quick was the transfer, they didn't even
get a chance to say good bye. She had left him a note, thanking him for the good times they shared and saying she would never forget
him. Her closing line made his heart ache She had said "I Love You" and then literally place a kiss on it with her lipstick.

He was in a word devastated. His world had crumbled and lay in ruins around his feet. He was no longer bubbly with a smile on his face.
Now he was quiet and withdrawn barely speaking at all.

Then he heard Mona's voice in his head. *Hey shape up Fernando! Don't be a Grumpy Gus I'm not really gone as long as you remember me. So get rid of that grumpy face and smile! Remember I love you.*

A smile crossed his face and he had to agree Mona was right. He still had his memories of all their times together. No one could ever take that from him.
He got up, stripped down to just his boxers and a shirt. He grabbed a vase to use as a microphone. "Computer play Do Ya Think I'm Sexy? By that rock icon Rod Stewart." A song that always brought a smile to Mona's face as well as laughter when she would watch him jump around the room gyrating his hips in time to the music, Moments later the catching tune was blaring in his quarters (Thank goodness they were soundproof) and starting slow but soon gyrating his hips and singing along Fernando De La Rosa danced. He danced in his mind to the memory of Mona and all she had taught him about love and life. He danced as he had never danced before as tears streamed down his face. "I love you Mona" He whispered to the wall. "Now and forever."
