Gary sat in his quarters. The lights were dimmed, no music played. No sound was heard. His quarters were as silent as a tomb
and his mood was just as dark and foreboding at this particular moment. This whole Lia affair was getting to him. He wanted her
to stay, she wanted to stay. her injuries said differently and there lay the problem now they were searching for a way to make that
happen. He sighed dispiritedly it seemed every idea or notion he had was shot down doomed to failure before it started. he absently
wondered who in the universe he had pissed off to allow such a thing to happen. Looking up at the ceiling he even voiced that thought
aloud and with some pent up anger. "I don't know who I made angry but enough is enough! I'm sorry, now stop it!" Yelling in frustration
at the current state of affairs.

He closed his eyes and let his head fall back against the couch. He tried to think but nothing came to him. The woman he loved was in
danger of being transferred off the ship and he sat here like a lump unable to come up with an answer. Why couldn't he think? He shook
his head and stood up and began to pace the floor a clear indication of his frustration. He didn't know how long he paced, he could see the
path he made in the carpet yet a solution eluded him. He felt like a failure! Lia needed him and he was useless, unable to help her. He sighed
in a mixture of anger and frustration and sat back on the couch.

He must have fallen asleep, for suddenly a shadowy figure appeared before him and spoke, "Gary, it's going to be alight. Just let it be." He stared
at the figure, "What? What did you say?" The figure repeated the words, "I know your upset, frustrated. You aren't doing, Lia,the crew or yourself
any good Gary. Let it be. It will work itself out." Then the figure stepped back into the shadows and Gary's eyes popped open. He looked around but his quarters were still dark and silent. "Computer play Let it Be." He didn't know why he requested that song but the thought seemed to quell his frustration. Soon the words and music filled his quarters.

When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be

Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be

Whisper words of wisdom, let it beAnd when the broken-hearted people
Living in the world agree
There will be an answer, let it be
For though they may be parted
There is still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be

Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be

Yeah, there will be an answer, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be

Whisper words of wisdom, let it beLet it be, let it be
Ah, let it be, yeah, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.
And when the night is cloudy
There is still a light that shines on me
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be
I wake up to the sound of music,
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be
