"Two days through Cardassian Space at the low (so I have been told numerous times by people in flight control)Speed of Warp 2 with our escorts, two Galor class Cardassian Starships, has seen an uptick in Medical reports and Counseling reviews. Which, if I am honest has always been a problem as the majority of crew like to avoid those two departments. Not sure why really, I have never had an issue with it. The loss of the majority of our flight control department has caused concern for me, but Commander Brett has stepped up to temporarily assist until I can get things sorted, or Commander Lovejoy's head on a silver platter, which ever comes first is fine with me. The stupidity, and arrogance of that man, never ceases to amaze me. I have had assurances from his commanding Officer that he will be dealt with, though how severely one is not sure. I guess the silver lining is that it was not that dimwit Albright this time. My crew is on edge as we soon will exit Cardassian Space and face the Void. We will arrive at the Void at 06h00 tomorrow. An ominous name for a part of space no one can explain. I am sure Science and Engineering will enjoy the 7 day journey, not so sure about other departments. I personally am not looking forward to 7 days in a pitch black environment. But orders are orders. I know my crew hate the orders, but I am just the messenger in this case. Holodecks are being booked out and I have heard that all recreational activities have seen an uptick since it was announced that we will be in the Void. I trust my crew will take what steps they need to remain sane. I, am doing the same. End Log. End Recording."
