Personal log ... I hate making these personal entries! I much prefer to write in a diary than dictate what’s on my mind to the computer. Anyway I digress from my log entry.
Having talked with Savar I have had my personal records updated to carry the Salik surname. In Vulcan culture married females rarely have a surname, indeed most Vulcan’s go by their first name alone. As I’m bonded... married to Savar I wanted to carry his surname as my own, but I wasn’t sure how to go about it.
In honour of Savar’s heritage I will now happily use his family surname Salik as my own. I will proudly show that I am honoured Savar chose me as his mate. There aren’t many Vulcan’s with non-Vulcan mates so I have yet to prove myself worthy to other Vulcan’s but I won’t let Savar down, I will make him proud he chose me.”
End Log.
