Subj: Squadron Nickname

Captain Lalor,

I am requesting permission to change a major aspect of our squadron. Upon approval, we will change the squadron to the following name.

45th Space Superiority Squadron. "Flying Tigers."

The reason I am advocating this change is that the Flying Tigers were once well known for their superior tactics during their illustrious career. This is what I try to pass down to our flight cadets. The ability to adapt and create plans in combat. This coordination was what the original Flying Tigers were known for, and it is what I teach my flight cadets. The last engagements proves that even with a squadron of cadets. We have out-fought and out-flown our opposition on multiple occasions by creating coordination between our unit.

In addition to the name change we are going to re-paint the fighters with the shark teeth nose art the Tigers were known for.
