- Intelligence offices -

Devin walked in the room after putting in her identification and she took a moment to appreciate the space within the offices. After she noted the others in the room she made her way to the Chief of Intelligence inner office.

She rang the chime and waited for permission to enter. Her uniform was in proper order, her hair was pulled back in a braid that wrapped around her head, it was dyed royal blue and had scarlet highlights.

"Come," Casper said as climb up from under his desk. He was fighting a power shortage but he refused to call Engineering or Operations as he wanted to fix this himself. Sitting back down in his chair he looked at the female human that walked into his office; the first thing that he noticed was her hair colour, 'Well that certainly stands out,' he thought to himself, "Have a seat Lieutenant," he smiled figuring that this must be the new transfer.

Devin nodded her thanks, "Good morning Sir, don't worry I will wash out the dye before any missions." She was more than willing to do so before hand but until someone voiced a complaint she was going to enjoy her blue hued locks. "Devin xi'Indrai reporting to your department from the USS Eagle-F." She stood to offer her transfer orders to him.

"If the mission calls for it I don't mind," he replied accepting the orders. He put them down without looking at them, "have a seat Lieutenant. Tell me what do you know about the CDID department onboard the ship?"

"Well I don't have much knowledge beyond that I'm guessing we handle anything that has to with intelligence either counter measure gathering of data, or making sure we have proper defense ready. I have been previously involved with extraction missions and a few gathering of information." She said lightly as she looked at him, "Beyond that I honestly don't know but I have no problem reading up or doing whatever training you feel is required to better help the department and the ship." Devin added giving him complete honesty.
Better than claiming false information and being called on it.

"You got the Intelligence bit right. We are also the Combined Defence department for the ship. We train closely with Security and the Marines on board and will boster their ranks if ever boarded or they require more man power off ship than they have on roster. You being an officer your going to be in charge of Section three. Unfortunately we don't have many Non commissioned members at the moment so it's just you but that will change here soon," he said with a smile passing her over a PaDD.

Devin nodded as she accepted the PaDD from him, "I think that sounds good I've never really had issues working with other departments but that we're actively working together should make for better understanding between everyone. Do we rotate whom we work and train with or are the teams preferred to not change much?"

"We will rotated between departments. It all depends on the work week. As Office in Charge it will be your duty to setup a training schedule for your section and forward it off to me for approval. Once approved by me I will notify the other Department heads and will see if we can get the training organized," he replied. It was a very good question and he was pleased to see that she had asked it.

Devin nodded, "Should I meet with the heads of the security and Marines to see if they have any preferences for who I can assign? Or do I just read over the roster and pick from there then show you for final approval?"
She asked, she definitely wasn't used to this sort of thing but she was more than willing to learn.

"Sorry Lieutenant maybe I misspoke. We don't have their members in our sections. Our section members are made up from our department but we train with them to ensure we are following what they do for training," he replied hoping there wasn't any more confusion.

Devin nodded, "Ah okay, sorry for my misunderstanding." Training with security and Marines wasn't that a bad deal I her opinion but in the Andorian Defense force they had actively trained with other departments to be certain all were ready for dealing with trouble. The way the fleet delt with departments was more separate and had taken getting used to but the idea of working in tandem with others didn't both her a bit it made sense to her. Combination of strength to have best results.

"No, no. It is good that you questioned so that way you knew for sure. Always question things that don't make sense Lieutenant, that's how we find things that aren't right," he replied with a smile, "Is there anything else you require?"

Devin shook her head softly, "I don't have any other questions, I will go get my transfer physical done then I should be able to get to work with you and the others." She said as she regarded him, if there was anything else he needed to let her know she figured he would.
