Ensign Kara Winchester sat in a cell in the slaver compound wondering how in the hell she’d managed to get herself into this, she’d only been aboard the Elysium for a few weeks having chosen it from a choice of two ships offered to her. She was starting to wish she’d chosen the other ship! She’d been poked, prodded and examined by a huge Gorn Doctor who had declared her good for sale as breeding stock. It made her sound like she was just cattle, she and other females had been stripped of their uniforms and given skimpy clothes to wear that showed off all their assets. Right now she just wanted to go home.

Anger exuded from S'hib as he entered the compound, his large and well worn hooves clicking loudly over the metal floor. "You, out!" He snapped, pointing at a Terran guard who was too busy looking over those inside the cell to notice who had just entered.

"No no no, we already have buyers for these, you can't just..." The man started, only for his words to stutter and trail off as S'hib loomed over him. "Look, whatever...alright, but I'm calling this in, I ain't getting time in the pain both because of you." He said as he backed away from S'hib and headed for the door. "Fucking animal..." He grumbled, pushing his luck as a hoof stamped onto the decking.

S'hib eyed up the Terran as he left, his tail lashing out behind him as he let out a heavy sigh. "Unfortunately for one of you, I'm in a bad mood... which means I don't intend on leaving you in a saleable condition." He said bluntly, his disdain for humans becoming all to clear as he eyed up everyone in the cell one by one.

"Do you really hate us so much?" Kara eyed S'hib's doppelgänger. She wasn't one for biting her tongue when there was something to be said. "What have we done to you?"

"Your only crime is being human... it's only fair, Terrans did the same to my world, my people..." S'hib replied calmly, meandering slowly over to the cell where Kara sat.

"Are we so distasteful? You find us good for fighting in the arena and I've seen female slaves serving men here." She looked at S'hib trying not to show how afraid she truly was. "I think you're more afraid of us because we're stronger than you, after all, you do serve a Terran do you not?"

"I DO NOT!" S'hib roared, punching the forcefield with a tightly gripped fist, the bright blue energy of the field crackling away as he pushed against it. "You best start biting that tongue of yours, or I'm going to do far worse than leave you in a less than saleable condition..." He snorted loudly, pushing off of the forcefield and stretching the ache out of his hand.

Kara flinched but held her ground, she didn't back away from a fight even if she was afraid of the outcome. "Do your worst! I'm not afraid of you and if it means I can't be sold then so much the better!!" She stood defiantly staring at the hooved individual the other side of the field.

"So much the better indeed..." S'hib said as his hand slowly moved to the nearby console. "Means I can keep you," He spat out as the forcefield lowered, stepping back with folded arms. "Now follow me... because if I have to come in there, everyone else is going to have to watch."

Kara had no choice but to do as she was told, at least this way she would be on the station with everyone else and not who knows where with some Terran master. She knew the sacrifice she was making but she had very little choice, if she could please this S'hib then she might just win enough trust to earn some freedoms and help her crew.

Bitter and angry eyes followed her as she left the cell, eyeing up her form as he reengaged the forcefield. "Good girl... now, keep up." S'hib grunted, his nostrils flaring as he clicked passed her at full stride, an ear constantly tracking her as he marched towards the exit.

Kara took a look back wondering what she was getting herself into, was she just betraying the others to save her own backside? She quickly caught up as she didn’t want to end up facing a worse wrath.

"As you're new here, I am willing to forget your earlier comments...for now," S'hib said as he continued to walk, his tall and proud posture purely for show, unlike his Prime counterpart.

"But once I've broken you in and you've been taught how to behave by my herd, you will be one of the safest women onboard the Elysium... However," He continued, never once looking back to see if she was there, simply listening to her bare feet tapping over the carpet behind him. "If you displease me in any capacity, you will be punished severely... is that clear?"

Kara nodded before speaking up. “Yes, it’s clear.” She wondered what he meant by herd, did he have a harem of women like her or more like his own species. “I am not a betrayer, I will not break!” She looked at him defiantly.

S'hib stopped slowly and turned, a smile across his face barely masking his boiling temper. "You misunderstand me little one... when I say to break you in, I'm referring to the fact your body evolved to accommodate the size of your males, and unfortunately for you... I'm a Sequus." He finished, his smile vanishing in an instant as he turned and continued walking.

Kara froze for a moment as the reality of what he was saying filled her mind with fear. She had no choice in the matter now it was be obedient or be punished or sold. She started slowly moving dreading the moment when they got to their destination.

The rest of their journey between the two remained in silence, only the sound of his hooves and her bare feet keeping their ears company.

It was only a short few minutes of walking, but the seconds seemed to drag on for what seemed like forever.

"Beam us to the Elysium, now." S'hib barked as he entered the transporter room, ducking under the doorframe and heading straight onto the transporter pad.

"Yes sir..." Replied the Terran conn officer, his eyes too busy to pay any real attention to Kara while glaring at S'hib

Kara noticed the fear that the large horse like Officer caused just by walking into a room, his words about being one of the safest women rang in her ears. All she had to do was please him, how hard could that be?

S'hib watched as Kara walked onto the pad beside him, wondering what the others would think of this new addition to his herd.

She had spirit, something he would have to crush and remould... but given time she might be worth the effort he thought, his eyes tracing over her figure as the transporter beam wrapped around them both.
