2020 words - 4 OF Standard Post Measure

Arrianna's hands flew over an intricate and complex piece of suicide for any AI. It was intricate, complex and dangerous for any AI. Essentially it was Navigational Calculations for the Ely's Slipstream drive to several locations in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. But when Alice tries to Access this data. It would force her to answer several question that would destroy an AI

1. A Cretan sails to Greece and says to some Greek men who are standing upon the shore: "All Cretans are liars." Did he speak the truth, or did he lie?

2. Does a set of all sets contain itself?

3. A slim crocodile living in the Nile took a child. His mother begged to have him back. The crocodile could not only talk, but was also a great sophist and stated, "If you guess correctly what I will do with him, I will return him. However, if you don't predict his fate correctly, I'll eat him." What statement should the mother make to save her child?

"Now then, how to get this piece of AI suicide to this ALICE?" Arrianna thought to herself.

Josie spoke up. "Give it to me, I will walk it into the computer core."

"Vanessa, go with her." Arri noted. "I have to go and collect a High Lady of Hiran."

"Are you sure that is wise Commander?" Josie asked being professional with others around. "She will be guarded."

"Don't worry about that. I plan on one last, quite illegal use of my Telepathy to show Penelope what my alternate turned me into. In fact, I hate the thought of it, but we're running out of time." Arrianna mentioned. "It's time for that bitch to reap what she's sown in me, Josie. Just come back soon so I don't get tempted to do other things with her."

"We will be back before you know it." Josie said looking at Vanessa. "Shall we?"

"Indeed." Vanessa noted.

*Nearby Penelope's Quarters*

Arrianna noticed the two guards outside Penelope's quarters, She turned down the T-Junction and leaned against the wall. quite close to the room. She waited, and focused on the exact moment Penelope was falling asleep.

The room was small and Penelope didn't really like it but it was her current home. She curled on the small bed and closed her eyes.

She suddenly found herself sitting in a chair with a spotlight on her in a darkened room that stretched on forever. Footsteps sounded as a figure walked towards her. Tapping on the ground. The figure entered the light wearing a blue starfleet uniform. Arrianna.... The pure rage was shown in her very face. No longer the peaceful woman that confronted her on the bridge.

"What are you doing!" Pene snapped crossly

"You know.... I was a once a very peaceful woman. Penelope Lalor... Before you helped Taylor enslave my crew and torture my best friend." Arri zipped to Penelope's right side. "You shouldn't have even conjured the notion of hurting my crew. Now I'm angry... that does not happen very often Penelope. I should rip your very mind to pieces. Now you get to pay the piper."

STAND Penelope would feel an overwhelming urge to stand up.

She stood. She looked at Arri. "I was following orders. Under pain of death. So Kill me. Its my sentence anyway!"

WALK Penelope would suddenly walk towards the doorway and step out of the room. The guards giving no reaction.

"You're not going to die, Penelope. You are going to live. But by the time I am finished with you. You will wish you were dead. You are going to help me liberate my crew, then you will tell them it was you who ordered the crew to the cargo bays where they were enslaved.

TURN

"Did you know my people used to do this. We call it puppeting It takes a great amount of concentration. It's also our highest crime. The Viceroy thought she could do it to me, but you see. Alindari in my universe are given a lifetime of mental development. I was the stronger mind and I turned her into a carrot. And the pure rage I feel just makes me even more unstable. Do you wanna know how unstable. Normally I wouldn't dream of doing this. But for you.... The hatred I hold for you is nearly unending."

Penelope looked down to see spiders of every type crawling up her legs, climbing towards her head.

She gasped and tried to brush them off her legs. "Stop please! I am a prisoner here! A bargaining chip with a death sentence if I disobey! I was forced to do those things! What you think I wanted to?"

The spiders stopped and vanished.

"Do you think me a fool? You have the Viceroy to thank for this. I have a need for you. When the slave revolt happens, and it will happen, They are going to want to know who ordered them to the Cargo Bay where their misery began. The things I want to do to you..." Arrianna turned her to face her. "You are going to tell my crew who ordered them to the cargo holds, then if they pity you enough after three days of inhuman torture. They might decide either to mob you, and remove your bomb out of pit." Arrianna made her walk to the shuttlebay again.

Once onboard the Waverider. Penelope just walked towards the slave pens and put herself into one of the slave cages. She felt her will return, but also saw Arrianna with her blood veins in her eyes and blood trickling down her nose. "There's a young blonde woman who will be retuning soon. You should thank her for calming my anger. Otherwise in the state you just experienced, I would have no limit to my imagination the kinds of horrors I would do to you." But it looked like it took a great deal out of Arrianna. She dropped into a nearby chair. "I hate you.... I hate your entire universe." She said as she began to recover from such use of her telepathy.

Penelope looked at her. "You can hate me. Nothing you can do will make me hate myself less. I am nothing but a pawn to my brother, the captain and the emperor. The hours I spent as your captain Lalor, were among the best in my life. I had freedom and respect. They can kill me, it means nothing and when I die, i will be with Mik'hai in peace."

"You are not going to die... I'm going to make sure of that. No you get to make up for what they made you do, then you get to live with it. I am trying to be a Starfleet Officer again." Arrianna mentioned. "But it's easy to be a saint in paradise." Arri retrieved a tricorder and began to study Penelope's bomb. "I want to hate you, but I have too much pity growing in me. And it's because I do not want to disappoint the woman you're about to meet." Arri looked at Pene in the face. "If I killed you, I'd lose more than my emotional control. I'd loose my ability to love. I'm going to make sure you live forever, to atone for all you've done." Arri scanned her neck. "It's attached to your spinal column... "

"Yes, they removed the one from the base of my skull and replaced it with that one." Penelope replied. "And no one lives forever."

Arri examined the bomb. "You'll be surprised how long a moment is, especially when you live to right your err's. I can remove the detonator's power source. Having the bomb removed will take a doctor that will also pity you. Assuming Doctor Sthilg is not insane with rage as well. I can say this; a great many people are about to die here. You're safe here in that cage; soon, there will be a mob of Federation on this ship killing everything in a Terran Uniform."

Arri sighed as she got a medkit out. "We can be just as cruel as them, Penelope. Even better. We can take darkness, and refine it, brewing it like fine wine."

"Maybe, but they doubt it highly." Penelope said. She paused. "No room for us in your universe Commander"

Arri took the instrument and placed it on her back. With some precision moves, She extracted the power source.

"The time I don't want to be a Starfleet Officer, is the time I am a Starfleet Officer. What I want to do is rage and make you hurt... If you help me get my crew back together, I will in turn help you." Arrianna mentioned. "But understand... Living in my universe may be difficult for you now that the truth would be known. Are you strong enough to walk the path of redemption knowing you will be hated? Because I'm going to have to walk it soon."

The door opened and Josie walked in. "I heard that and it is not true at all." she said briskly.

"I can't do this anymore, Josie. Just intrude into someone's mind. Control their Aea. I cannot do it." Arri shed a tear. "I never want you to think I'm a monster Josie. I just controlled her like a doll just right now, and I almost tortured her." Arri said to Josie. "But then I realized you would be disappointed." She looked at Joise in the eyes. So I stopped, and pitied her, Josie." She nodded to Penelope.

Josie touched Arri's hair gently as she walked up to her, stroking it to sooth. "Its ok. And to be honest, I pity her too. She is everything our captain isn't. Or maybe, she is what our captain would have been had she not gotten up the courage to run?"

"Maybe, she has a chance to gather courage when she meets Phoenix. Then she can decide. Does she want to be a Phoenix? Or just Penelope and be a tool for someone else?" Arri kissed Josie long and deeply. "I love you."

"oh get a room" Penelope muttered.

Josie rolled her eyes as she gently broke the kiss. "Jealousy" she whispered to Arri. "its just Jealousy."

"Quiet you. I may not be able to make you think you're walking in molten lava. But I have other ways to keep a craven like you in line." Arri gave her a light slap and then turned back to kissing Josie. "Next task, we need tk liberate Phoenix. Now we wait for the revolt to begin."

"Indeed. Make her record her part then we can send her back to the ISS crew?" Josie suggested.

Arri started a recording of the woman. "Alright craven, what did you do for Taylor?"

"I was ordered to take the place of Captain Phoenix Lalor of the USS Elysium"

"Did you give the order for our crew, to deceive them into the cargo bays?" Arri gave her a motivational slap.

"Yes, once Commander Taylor surrendered the ship, i gave the order for all crew to attend the Cargo bays."

"Tell them what you are. Tell them you are a cowsrdly bitch. SAY IT." Arri screamed.

"I am Lady Penelope Lalor of Hiran, wife of High Lord Palas Lalor. I am not Phoenix Lalor. I only pretended to be her to save my own life."

"Throw her out, Josie. Let her go hide somewhere... like a good coward." Arri stated.

Josie smirked and beamed Penelope back to her cabin. She then saved the recording.

Arrianna opened the waverider's small armory, It contained an impressive arsenal of weapons. Including phaser rifles, pistols, photon grenades, carbines, repeaters, mines, and other quite deadly instruments. Arrianna picked up a rifle, a pistol, and several grenades and mines. The last thing she picked was a intricate saber. She pulled it from it's scabbard and began to test the blade with her fluid swordplay before she returned it to it's scabbard. "Josie, Get a Rifle and another Sword for Phoenix. If I know my friend, she'll want to deal with these Terrans in person."
